How Aussie Millions satellites work on Intertops
The Aussie Millions satellites on Intertops follow the same format as other satellite games in Bitcoin poker rooms. There are four different types of satellite tournaments: Step 1, Step 2, Last Chance Wild West Satellite, Final tournament.
Step 1 Satellite. This is available four times a day starting at Nov. 1. The buy-in entrance for the tournament is only $3+$0.30. Step 1 tournaments are available at 2 p.m., 8 p.m., 2 a.m. and 8 a.m. EST. Winners of the Step 1 satellite earn a free entry to the Step 2 tournament.
Step 2 Satellite. This is another daily tournament that occurs twice a day. This is held at 4 p.m. and 9 p.m. EST starting Nov. 2. The buy-in rate is $10+$1 and the prize is a free entry to the Final tournament.
Last Chance Wild West Satellite. This is set on Nov. 12 at 1 p.m. EST. This has the cheapest buy-in rate amongst the four tournaments of $1+$0.10. The prize is the same as the Step 2 tournament which is a free buy-in at the Final tournament.
Final Satellite Tournament. This is held on the same day as the Last Chance Wild West event on November 12 at 5 pm EST. Anyone who does not win the Step 2 or Last Chance Wild West tournament can still join the tournament by covering the buy-in rate of $100+$10. The prize is the coveted $3,500 package which includes an all-expense paid trip to Melbourne and the buy-in to the main event of the Aussie Millions.
Requirements and $3,500 price package conditions
The satellite tournaments are open to people who are 18 years of age or older. They must not be an employee or an immediate family member of an employee of the company or associated companies offering the satellite games.
Promoter or host of the Satellite is responsible for accommodation fees and arrangements with the Quay West Suites Melbourne where the $3,500 price package winner will stay. However, it is up to the winner to have his travel arrangement to Melbourne. The company will compensate the winner with $500 for his air or travel fare once the company receives the proper documents. These documents should verify that the winner booked and paid for his travel to the venue.
The live prize package is non-transferable or redeemable for the same cash value. The main event buy-in is a ‘must play’ prize.
