2020 French Open Odds: Low Chances for Schwartzman

Diego Schwartzman reaches the Roland Garros semi-final, but odds see a bleak future for the Argentinian pro tennis player to beat Rafael Nadal.

World’s no. 14 Diego Sebastian Schwartzman is hoping to remake his victory against Rafael Nadal in the recently concluded 2020 Italian Open, but odds seem to say otherwise. Now through the semi-final, Schwartzman is the underdog, with Bitcoin sports betting odds all favoring Nadal.

2020 French Open Semi-Final Odds: Schwartzman vs Nadal

2020 French Open Semi-Final Odds Schwartzman vs Nadal

Not to belittle Schwartzman, he survived five grueling sets in the quarter-final to beat Dominic Thiem, who is currently world’s no. 3 and is labeled as the prince of clay. Thiem was also a frontrunner in winning the French Open trophy this year according to outright odds, trailing behind Nadal and Novak Djokovic.

Now, the Argentinian professional tennis player will face the king of clay next. And if odds would be followed, his chances for denying Nadal a slot in the final is slim. After all, odds see that Nadal will be Men Singles champion in Paris this year.

Crypto-only casino and sportsbook FortuneJack gives Schwartzman only 6.89 odds to win against Nadal, who in return gets a commanding 1.14 odds.

The same scenario is evident in other Bitcoin sportsbooks. In fact, US-friendly casino and sports betting site Bovada.lv lists a flat 6.00 odds for Schwartzman and 1.133 odds for Nadal. Similarly, Schwartzman settles for 5.65 odds at Cloudbet, compared to Nadal’s 1.13.

Meanwhile, with Thiem and Stan Wawrinka now out, Stefanos Tsitsipas and Schwartzman get better odds at becoming the French Open 2020 winner. At Nitrogen Sports, Schwartzman now gets 17.00 outright odds at becoming the winner. But Nitrogen Sports sees a toss up between Nadal and Djokovic to win the Grand Slam title this year, both with 2.00 outright odds.

Those who want to take chances with Schwartzman beating Nadal should place their bets at FortuneJack, especially with the high odds it has given to the underdog.
