DAO.Casino Edges Forward with TestNet 1.0 Launch

Developers can now have a taste of the next generation of gaming as DAO.Casino launched last week TestNet 1.0 for its blockchain project.

As decentralized gaming becomes the future of the gaming industry, many platforms focus on creating innovative and next-generation solutions. Of the many decentralized platforms that have taken on this challenge, DAO.Casino is one of the key standouts.

In fact, DAO.Casino, which is at the forefront of building the blockchain for Gambling 3.0, made a new achievement as it launched last week the public testing environment for its blockchain project.

Through TestNet 1.0, key industry players can now access the beta version of the DAO.Casino network. Along with the beta release are several instrumental TestNet features.

According to DAO.Casino’s blog post:

“This is a huge milestone for the company, considerably progressing DAO.Casino along with our ambitious roadmap (it has taken over 5 months of intense hard work from our dedicated team). For our network participants, this provides the opportunity to experience DAO.Casino’s concept first-hand, opening the doors to Gambling 3.0.”

The launch made available DAO.Casino’s new consensus algorithm called RANDPA. This algorithm is designed to speed up the finalization of every transaction. According to DAO.Casino, RANDPA can and will finalize transactions within seconds.

Other than the new algorithm, TestNet 1.0 also brings the Block Explorer to the table. This feature reportedly will be the key to gain access to every history and detail of tokens and transactions on the network.

Joining these two is the test token faucet. This will give away test tokens that can be used on smart contracts on the DAO.Casino blockchain. This faucet is accessible through the Telegram bot.

With the release of the TestNet 1.0, the DAO.Casino team is working next on the inclusion of governance capabilities, which will then open the DPOS system for beta testing. According to the post, these will be included in TestNet 2.0.

Meanwhile, anyone who wants to join the beta testing phase can find the source code and setup instructions in DAO.Casino’s repository.
