FunFair & Spike Games to Create Blockchain Games

FunFair Technologies teamed up with Spike Games to create new versions of the latter's existing game titles like Alice Cooper slot to run on the blockchain.

FunFair Technologies is on the right track to providing a friendly Ethereum-powered platform for online casino games—one that will also benefit game providers.

To further this cause, FunFair teamed up with Spike Games, a leading game developer, to make available new versions of existing game titles that run on the blockchain. This partnership will transform the FunFair platform into one wherein game developers can integrate their game content without much hassle.

Jez San, CEO of FunFair Technologies, said:

“Spike has over 25 years’ experience developing high quality slot games and we are delighted to have partnered with them to lay the foundations for the next generation of blockchain games. By incorporating our proprietary Fate Channel technology with their rich experience, we can now give players the gameplay experience they are used to, with all the benefits that blockchain brings.”

Through the said partnership, FunFair will soon add to its platform the games created by Spike Games, which will receive payment in FUN tokens as soon as a gaming session ends.

Spike Games on FunFair Platform

Game Titles from Spike GamesEvery game in Spike Games’ portfolio needs to be reworked entirely on the FunFair Blockchain technology. This allows all games to utilize the platform’s provable fairness feature which provides transparency to players.

The first game from Spike Games’ to have a FunFair version is Alice Cooper’s School’s Out for Summer slot. This slot has a Double Wild Reel feature called Wild Eyes. Players can also win up to 30 free spins in the first level of the Freespins feature. Spike Games will also work with Global Merchandising Services, the company that owns the Alice Cooper license, to create more content on the FunFair version of the slot.

Rob Anderson, founder of Spike Games, said:

“The potential of blockchain technology in the online gaming industry is enormous and we are very excited to be partnering with FunFair at such an exciting time in its development. We believe in giving players the best possible experience and FunFair’s technology will ensure we can provide fast, beautiful, secure games to existing and new crypto players across the world.”
