FunFair is starting 2018 strong by achieving three milestones during the first quarter of the year. This includes its license application and ICE showcase.
The FunFair roadmap shows an exciting first quarter for 2018 as it continues its momentum from its launch in June last year.
The first goal of the company’s roadmap is its application for a UK Gambling Commission (UKGC) license. Along with it is its full blast promotion by attending ICE Totally Gaming next month to showcase its Ethereum Blockchain-powered casino platform.
Next Step: Acquire UKGC License
FunFair is not an online casino and is not applying for a casino operator license. Instead, it is a technology and software company that offers its platform to casino operators. The provider needs a Remote Gambling Software License to offer its services to licensed operators within the UK.
There is a high possibility that FunFair will obtain a UKGC license. If it could not secure one, however, the team will look to other jurisdictions for a license. This includes Malta Gaming Authority because the team won the Malta iGaming ICO of the year in 2017. FunFair also has team members who have personal experiences in license application from other jurisdictions.
Blockchain Casino to Launch in Q1 2018
The major event in FunFair’s first quarter is the launch of the first version of its Blockchain casino. This Blockchain casino will tap into the main Ethereum network which allows punters to use their FUN coins.
The availability of FUN is growing more as exchanges start accepting FUN/USD, FUN/ETH, and FUN/BTC trading for the cryptocurrency. Binance, Bittrex, and Bitfinex have the highest trade volume in 24 hours than other exchanges. The price of FUN has also grown from an average of $0.04 to a high of $0.20. As of this time of writing, it is trading at around $0.13 in most exchanges.
What’s Next in FunFair 2018 Roadmap
FunFair will keep its momentum going throughout the year. During the second quarter of 2018, the team will deploy its FunFair platform in partnership with friendly operators. It aims to learn, adapt, and iterate its technology as a part of a soft launch.
The FunFair team will continue on improving the platform by adding new features to it. The team looks to have a regular product release on its platform. The team will also engage with third-party software providers and publish API documents, among others. By the second half of the year, the team will offer a comprehensive reporting and administration tools to operators.
Showcase FunFair in ICE Totally Gaming 2018
FunFair will go to London for ICE Totally Gaming 2018 on Feb. 6 to 8. The team will showcase their proprietary Fate Channel technology and its Ethereum Smart Contract Blockchain platform. The ICE exhibit can help the team to showcase its FunFair platform to thousands of delegates from around the world. This also allows them to draw in the attention of potential partners and clients.
