DG (Decentral Games)
Decentral Games made headlines in March 2021 when it announced that Atari would be setting up an Ethereum casino inside Decentraland. Not only does this mark Atari’s second foray into the world of blockchain, but it also marks the digital construction of a 20-hectare Ethereum casino inside Vegas City at Decentraland.
With news of Atari purchasing virtual land in Decentraland, DG/USD registered a price increase. The pair peaked at 593.05608 USD on March 22 at CoinMarketCap. Other reports showed DG/USD trading at 621 USD on the same day. This is a significant increase from the pair’s price at the start of the month at 101.479853 USD, and is a huge leap from the 13.87 USD price at the start of the year. Since its peak in March, the DG price has decreased a bit and currently trades north of 300 USD.
Players can earn DG inside Decentraland for performing certain tasks, like playing games, voting on treasury management and other Decentraland-related matters.
