Game of Thrones: Who Will First Perish in Season 8?

With the Game of Thrones Season 8 to close the epic series, many are excited to know who will sit on the Iron Throne. But many also seek who will perish.

The epic tale of Game of Thrones is about to end. With the final season airing just a few days away, fan theories and odds alike have bold guesses on who will sit on the Iron Throne. And among these predictions are which characters will bid farewell from the lands of Westeros and Esos.

Here are the odds on who among the returning characters in Season 8 will first die, as well as which members of each house will first perish.

Who Will Die First?

When it comes to the first character to die in Game of Thrones Season 8, it becomes clear that the Greyjoys of the Iron Islands are the heavy favorites to die, unfortunately.

First to Perish

Yara and Theon Greyjoy, as well as their uncle, Euron, are among the top five characters to die based on the odds of several Bitcoin sportsbooks.

Bodog predicts either Euron or Yara to exit first with 3.10 and 3.50 odds, respectively. Euron also appeared on two other top 3 lists, with 1xBit giving the Lord Reaper of Pyke 4.0 odds to die first and Betrally 3.0.

Theon joins his uncle on the watch list, appearing on BetOnline.ag (5.0), Betrally (2.0), and 1xBit (2.0).

Meanwhile, the other characters predicted to die first are Sansa Stark (Bodog | 4.50), Gregor Clegane (1xBit | 1.10), and Tormund Giantsbane (BetOnline.ag | 3.25). Betrally also added Jaime Lannister and Tyrion Lannister, both with 8.0 odds to die first in Season 8.

Who Among the Greyjoys Will First Go?

Bodog listed Yara of House Greyjoy second to Euron on its other list, but the sportsbook placed the claimant of the title Queen of Iron Islands least likely to die first from the said house.

GREYJOY Odds

Both 1xBit and BetOnline.ag, however, contradicts Bodog as both predicts Yara to be the first Greyjoy to die. This may be apt as Yara fell in the hands of Euron toward the end of Season 7.

The Dwarf May Outlive the Queen

Cersei now sits on the Iron Throne, but her reign will not be for long, even more so her life. If odds would be followed, then Cersei will be the first of the living Lannisters to die.

LANNISTER Odds

Bitcoin sportsbooks predict that brothers Jaime and Tyrion may live or at least live longer than their sister would. In fact, there are prop bets that hint Cersei will die because of Jaime.

Either way, Betrally sees the two male Lannisters to have one of the least chances to survive in the final season.

The Girl Does Not Survive

Not only do the odds believe Arya Stark is among those who will perish in Season 8, but they also show she will be the first to succumb to death.

STARK Odds

Bodog, BetOnline.ag, and 1xBit pegged Arya as the most likely Stark to first exit the show. And this is in relation to the predictions of Bran sitting on the Iron Throne. There are also other theories and speculations that Sansa may also have her chance to be the ruler of Westeros.

Bettors should place their wagers right away as there are only days left before the markets close. The first episode of Game of Thrones Season 8 will air on 14 April 2019.
