There's no denying the massive growth and potential of the esports industry, and this reflects on the number of iGaming brands venturing into esports.
Esports partnerships and sponsorships are the next big thing. And when you have big industry leaders like Intel, IBM, Coca-Cola, and even Marvel Entertainment among many others working together with the esports industry, you automatically know just how massive the esports world is.
This is exactly why sponsoring and partnering with esports teams, events, and organizations has become such an attractive strategy, especially for iGaming businesses.
Think of ways how online betting operators benefit from attracting a share of the esports audience. Likewise, picture iGaming companies working together to elevate further the esports scene, whether in esports betting or in the competitive esports arena.

In January 2021, VBET, which is the flagship brand of BetConstruct, announced its selection as the official title sponsor of the Swedish-based esports team Alliance. Known as a world leader in the esports scene, Alliance has registered several wins in various esports, including Dota 2, Apex Legends, Super Smash Bros, Fortnite, and TrackMania.
With the VBET sponsorship, Team Alliance will don VBET’s branding on their shirts when they compete in different events throughout 2021. It was also announced that VBET’s Ultimate Fan Experience will have an exclusive prize of a trip to Dota 2’s world championship tournament The International.
The Esports Entertainment Group (EEG) has been a partner of Dignitas since 2019, but the two entities have extended their partnership in 2020. By teaming up with New Jersey-based professional esports organization, EEG gets the right to place its Vie.gg branding on the team’s jersey. This deal is one of EEG’s efforts to broaden their partnership in the esports world as well as promoting Vie.gg.
Magnus Leppäniemi, VP of Marketing and Heads of Esports at Esports Entertainment Group, shared with BestBitcoinCasino.com the vision of Vie.gg:
“We are going beyond the traditional, sportsbook betting. We have Fantasy games on the leading esports leagues, pool betting, in-game betting and even the casino-style games. Players can watch their favorite esports matches and bet on the action they are seeing on their screens then and there. It’s about making Vie.gg the ultimate esports entertainment destination.”
The extended partnership also paves the way for digital and physical activations in the New Jersey marketplace in the US.
Online gaming entertainment service LeTou first scored a partnership deal with Fnatic in 2019. And in March 2021, LeTou and the London-based esports organization renewed their deal for 12 months. Currently, LeTou’s branding is found on the Southeast Asia-based Fnatic Dota 2 team’s jersey. The team is competing for a spot in the upcoming The International.
Paul Fox, CEO of LeTou, said:
“Fnatic are one of the biggest names in esports and we thoroughly look forward to continuing our partnership for the next 12 months as we watch the team continue their quest to qualify for the International and ultimately challenge for the title.”
As the official sponsor, LeTou is in full support of the Fnatic Dota 2 team’s quest for the title of this year’s The International.
