Online gaming platform Kronoverse gave a preview of CryptoFights in its second beta testing stage that ran from 27-31 January 2020.
Founded by Adam Kling, CryptoFights is an upcoming blockchain-based game based on the popular board game Dungeons & Dragons, is a player-vs-player turn-based game that demonstrates the power of Bitcoin SV (BSV) as the premier blockchain for gambling and gaming.
Initially available on Android and will soon be released on iOS and PC, CryptoFights has come a long way as evidenced by the features present in its second beta testing.
What to Expect from CryptoFights
The current version still features three main races that players can choose from: Dwarf, Human, Elf. Each race comes with specific characteristics and skills, and whose appearances can be customized based on the players’ preferences.
Players have the complete freedom with their chosen character. They can choose the gender, set the skin tone, as well as determine the hair style and color. Male characters can also have a beard, if wanted.
When it comes to the gameplay, players will go through a tutorial. In this mode, they will fight a BOT fighter as the system walks them through the game and its mechanics. Players will only be able to fight another player in real time after completing the tutorial.
CryptoFights players will then have access to different content, including the Caravan, the Skill Tree, and the Hall of Memories. Players can explore the Caravan for the different kinds of weapons, or browse through their past fights inside the Hall of Memories.
Technology behind CryptoFights
Meanwhile, as for the technology behind the game, players who have joined the beta test would have noticed that all moves made throughout the game are recorded on the BSV blockchain.
This means that players have the option to view their previous games, and therefore analyze moves and formulate strategies. At the same time, this highlights the transparency of the game, from the in-game actions taken up to the digital asset transactions, all of which go through the Ethereum blockchain.
