More Esports Options: New WNBA Game Modes Join NBA 2K21

Fans can look forward to playing more WNBA game modes in the next-gen version of NBA 2K21 to be released in November for Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5.

Game developer Visual Concepts has recently revealed that the next-gen NBA 2K21 will feature three new game modes focused on WNBA as the title becomes available on November 10 for the Xbox Series X/S and on November 12 for the PlayStation 5.

The three new WNBA game modes, according to the game developer of the successful NBA 2K franchise, promise to provide flexibility, customization, and more basketball action.

New WNBA Game Modes in NBA 2K21

The W – this serves as the new version of MyPlayer for WNBA wherein players are in control of creating their own athlete and its career.

The W Online – this allows players to compete online in 3v3 games using their created character.

MyWNBA – this functions as a league simulator, which gives you the power to choose one of the WNBA franchises for multiple seasons, as well as select all 12 franchises.

The addition of these three new WNBA game modes in NBA 2K21 marks a great upgrade in the NBA 3K franchise ever since WNBA teams were added to NBA 2K20. This move also reflects the clamor of fans to improve the WNBA aspect of the popular title.

With the inclusion of improved WNBA-focused game modes, along with the success of NBA 2K League since 2018, it is only logical to expect that WNBA 2K League may soon take the spotlight as well. In this case, not only will the franchise give WNBA a boost, but it will also expose WNBA to the ever-growing competitive world of esports.

Should this happen, fans and sports bettors alike can expect to join the action by wagering on teams through online sportsbooks. Even better, use cryptocurrencies to bet on WNBA esports at top Bitcoin sports betting sites.

But while all these are yet to happen, one thing is certain: players can start playing the three WNBA game modes in the upcoming next-gen NBA 2K21 title.
