Enrico Bradamante, Chief of European Market Operations and MD of NetEnt Malta, said:
“The development of online gaming in Spain is happening at a positive rate, with turnover and revenues growing steadily year-on-year. It is an important and successful country for NetEnt with plenty of future potential. We are pleased to be expanding our offering to Spanish operators and look forward to celebrating our second anniversary in the market with our friends and customers that are visiting EXPOJOC.”
NetEnt’s second year in Spain
NetEnt, which won multiple EGR B2B 2017 awards, is releasing its table games to the Spanish iGaming market with added Spanish content. These games are roulette and blackjack which will have a desktop and mobile version.
It is important to note that NetEnt already has an established presence in the regulated market in Spain since June 2015. NetEnt has partnered with local operators within the country. These operators include Bet365, Bwin, PokerStars, Gamesys, and 888.es. The Spanish table games are expected to bring in more customers in the local Spanish iGaming market. This will benefit both NetEnt and its partnered operators and will be a welcome addition to Bitcoin casino players.
Apart from releasing the Spanish table games, NetEnt also hosted a reception event at the Casino Cirsa Valencia on June 13 to celebrate its second anniversary. The event was on where NetEnt provided more information on other product releases that the company is working on. This includes other games and software that will have Spanish content.
NetEnt, which launched its NetEnt Live games last year, was also present in the 2017 EXPOJOC trade fair that was held in Feria Valencia, Spain. Potential clients and partners of NetEnt were given the opportunity to meet with the company during this event.

According to the results, there was a 32.6-percent increase in the gambling revenues in the fourth quarter of 2016 which was about €125.7 million. The amount wagered in the Spanish market during the fourth quarter last year was €2.9 billion which shows an increase of 19.9 percent.
The report also shows an increase of 10 percent in new players signing up to iGaming websites. Comparing the data from 2015, the last quarter of 2016 had 17.3 percent more active players.
The market could continue its upward trend throughout 2017 since there is no significant factor that could bring down the market revenue at this time. Thanks to the new table games and other upcoming software with Spanish Content, NetEnt benefits from the improving online gambling market in Spain.
