Sports betting may be down because of the deadly COVID-19 pandemic, but top new online slots will permit players to wager on football this summer.
Players who like to wager on their favourite sports matches will notice a lull in activity as of late. The COVID-19 pandemic has seen all major sporting events across the globe, either binned or suspended. Fear not, though, as there are still plenty of ways for you to wager on football, even if you can’t directly bet on sports.
Next month, Microgaming will be launching a pair of footy-themed slots, as All Win FC and a revamped version of Football Star are set to go live. The former promises expanding wilds, two ways to trigger a free spin bonus, and symbol upgrade features. Microgaming will also score big with their Football Star: Deluxe slot. A revamped edition of an earlier release, the game will debut at the end of April as a 5-reel, 88-line slot. It serves up Striking Wilds, the customary Rolling Reels platform, and expanding stacked wilds, known as Growing Wilds.
At the same time, Microgaming has also joined forces with Svenska Spel Sport & Casino, and the new games are expected to debut at Swedish Gambling Commission licensed websites, as well as their UK and European counterparts.
Speaking on the deal, Microgaming’s Chief Operating Officer, Andrew Clucas said:
“Svenska Spel Sport & Casino is a tremendous addition to our sizeable customer base in this key strategic market. We are pleased to welcome them to the Microgaming family and look forward to working with them closely after a successful integration.”
Also debuting this month at cryptocurrency casinos are Habanero’s Knockout Football Rush, and iSoftBet’s Hot Shots 2. Both are football-themed slots. They come following the successful launch of the Cheltenham Festival inspired Racetrack Riches slot.
Speaking on the launch of the latter, iSoftBet’s Head of Games, Mark Claxton, commented:
“Players who like a flutter at the Festival will love pitting their wits on our new game, attempting to complete three laps of our course and reach the finish line with the potential for massive winnings.”
Bitcoin sports betting may be out of the question for the time being, but these new releases quite clearly show that you can still bet on sports-themed online slots aplenty across the internet at this time.
