Play’n GO Brings Back 80s Heavy Metal Music With Saxon Slot

Online casino software provider Play’n GO pays tribute to one of the 80s’ biggest European acts with its newly launched 5-reel Saxon video slot.

With a legacy that heavily influenced Metallica and Megadeth, the 80s British heavy metal icon Saxon gets its much-deserved recognition in the world of iGaming. Play’n GO has officially released its one-of-a-kind tribute to the influential band, the five-reel Saxon slot.

The new 10-payline slot from Play’n GO, which can be played fiat and Bitcoin casino sites, combines exciting online slot gameplay with engaging features, one of which allows players to choose from several of Saxon songs to listen to in the background while playing.

Martin Zettergren, Chief Product Officer at Play’n GO, said:

“The 80s were a time of fun and freedom, that’s reflected in the music of the time. We’ve brought that feeling into the Saxon slot. It’s a simple, fun game and the free spins give players so much potential it will appeal to new and seasoned players alike.”

Play’n GO designed Saxon slot to feature superb animation that adds to the game’s entertainment. But more than the original Saxon music and visual aesthetics, the new Play’n GO slot puts the spotlight on the actual gameplay, too.

Players, for instance, can activate the game’s free spins feature when two Scatters land on the reels. Represented by Saxon lead singer Biffy Byford and the other by a classic motorcycle, the two Scatters combine with an eye-catching animation, signaling the start of the feature.

Saxon slot, which has 96.24% RTP and high volatility, also gives players the chance to unlock bigger multipliers through the unlimited multiplier feature. Players can get as many multipliers available while the feature is active.

The launch of Saxon slot follows the introduction of Annihilator slot, a rock-themed game based on the 80s Canadian thrash metal band. It was one of the new Play’n GO slots released in May this year. Another 80s rock-and-roll themed slot by Play’n GO was Twisted Sister slot, which was released in June. Then keep on the lookout for the new Helloween slot.

Meanwhile, check out the sequel to Jolly Roger slot in fiat-money and Bitcoin casinos as Play’n GO release Jolly Roger 2.
