As we are witnessing lately, many of the events are taking a virtual form as public gatherings are banned worldwide due to COVID-19 pandemic.
As of 27th of April until 1st of May 2020 attendees all over the world can enjoy the SBC Digital Summit, the event where the sports betting, gaming, and online casino industries come in one place to offer one-of-a-kind virtual experience accessible through PC, tablet or smartphone.
People are given the opportunity to visit the exhibition, attend the conference sessions of their choice, or take advantage of any of the other networking possibilities, all made available by the SBC Events team.
In order to attend the event, everyone can get week passes, day passes and company packages. Upon entering the Digital Summit, attendees will be situated at the Lobby Area where they can freely navigate through the various event rooms and explore all available features they offer.
All exhibition booths, as well as information about the products they offer, can be accessed through the Exhibition Hall. Visitors will be able to interact and gather additional details from exhibitors through a direct chat, as well as to witness video demonstrations related to their products. Additionally, meetings with exhibitors and sponsors can be requested before the event.
In the Conference Auditorium, attendees can take part in the various speaker panels and presentations, which can be viewed live or recorded. All video and audio sessions will be available on the virtual platform after the event, however, interacting with sponsors and fellow attendees can only be done during the event.
Networking Lounge is where you can have 1 on 1 private chats or take part in group conversations with any of the other attendees of the summit.
Product Display is the shortcut through which visitors can check out the latest gaming and betting products from top suppliers in the industry.
In case any queries arise during the visit at the Digital Summit, Help Desk is at visitors’ disposal in the main reception.
Technology Behind the Event
SBC is in partnership with 6Connex – a leading virtual event technology provider. Their platform for virtual events combines technology and user experience into one, thus facilitating the access and support of several thousand visitors, all at once.
After the first day of the event, attendees started to post their feedbacks and comments over the social media and comments are very positive.
For example, Pierre L. commented:
“From a branding/sponsorship point of view I think it is great, they offer a lot of value to the partners. Probably better in many ways than an in-person eevent.”
Rebecca Liggero Fontana from Calvin Ayre commented as well:
“Sessions/panels are excellent. I am spending all my time there as my objective is to listen to my interviewees before I interview them via Skype at later time. Clearly a lot of work has gone into this!”
Meanwhile, SBC VP Growth & Strategy for Americas Sue Schneider said in a BestBitcoinCasino.com interview:
“It’s happening and the feedback has been really good. Clearly, there are limitations but there’s definitely an interest in connecting with each and hear how other folks are coping and planning for an uncertain future.”
As BestBitcoinCasino.com team is attending the event as well, we can only stand behind the positive feedback the event is receiving and we are already looking forward to next year’s editions!
Meanwhile, check out the interview of The Betting Coach with Adam Spisak, Sales Director at Spinmatic Entertainment, about his first online event with SBC and the role of virtual exhibitor that his company – Spinmatic Entertainment, has decided to take on in this difficult period generated by COVID-19.
