Yggdrasil Christmas Calendar 2017 Brings Cheers to Casinos

Yggdrasil is launching a €500,000 campaign with its Christmas Calendar. Throughout the month of December, Yggdrasil will have a series of tournaments

Yggdrasil is celebrating the yuletide season with its €500,000 campaign. The company has just posted on its Yggdrasil Christmas Calendar 2017 a series of BOOST events throughout the month of December. Anyone interested in joining the campaign can sign up now on any Bitcoin casino that hosts Yggdrasil games.

Christmas Calendar events

Yggdrasil announces the events on its Christmas Calendar 2017The Christmas Calendar comes as a highlight of Yggdrasil’s BOOST. BOOST is the company’s promotional tool that goes beyond the giving off of usual offers like free spins and money bonuses. The tool allows operators to gamify a player’s experience or to set a random prize period for certain games.

Yggdrasil’s promotional campaign will run from December 1, 2017 to January 3 next year. Throughout the festive month, there will be 10 events that have varying prize pools.

These events are split into three categories: Missions, Tournaments, and Cash Race.

  1. Missions. Players need to complete a specific goal for the qualifying Yggdrasil slots such as the Valley of the Gods or Vikings Go Berzerk in order for them to qualify for the cash prize. Those who can complete the mission in the least number of rounds will get the largest portion of the prize pool.
  2. Tournaments. This event is a contest of who gains the most points by the end of the tournament period. Players only need to get one winning spin during the tournament period to be part of the leaderboard.
  3. Cash Prize. During the Cash Prize period, a minimum bet of at least €1 can give players a chance at winning a random mystery cash prize. The smallest amount a player can win is €10 while the highest and most elusive prize is €2,500. Players can win more than one mystery cash prize during the promotion period.

Fredrik Elmqvist, the CEO of Yggdrasil Gaming says:

“Last year’s Christmas Calendar was such a success that we decided to go even bigger this year. We have more than doubled the prize pool up to €500,000 to help operators engage and retain players over the holidays. We want to encourage operators to use the calendar to be creative in their strategic campaign management, and really stand apart from the competition this Christmas.”

Additional promotional tools

Operators can get the most out of the Christmas Calendar with the help of BRAG. BRAG is a social media sharing tool that lets players show their biggest wins on their timeline or wall. This helps operators encourage people to bring in new players to their casino.

Another highlight of the Christmas Calendar is the spotlight on the latest Yggdrasil games, including the Jungle Books slot. This game has an innovative feature that has interchangeable characters with their own unique features and a reel structure unlike any other. Another game players should watch out for is the Valley of the Gods that has a unique re-spin feature which unlocks a 5×5 reel matrix and provides a bet multiplier. These new games can entice players to come back for more spins beyond the promotional campaign.
