Sports Betting East Africa Summit Returns to Uganda in 2018

Eventus International will treat attendees to a two-day event at the five-star Kampala Serena Hotel on April 10 to 11 for Sports Betting East Africa.

Sports Betting East Africa Summit 2018 is coming back to Kampala, Uganda next year. Eventus International will treat attendees to a two-day event at the five-star Kampala Serena Hotel on April 10 to 11 for the groundbreaking annual East African sports betting conference and exhibition.

The fourth Sports Betting East Africa (SBEA) Summit will put the spotlight on experts and important personalities in the sports betting and iGaming industry. Delegates will have a chance to form a strong network, learn more about the industry with the different programs, and discover new providers while in the beautiful city of Kampala.

A look at the growing sports betting industry in Kampala, Uganda

Kampala is one of the best cities to live in while in East Africa. It is one of the highly rated cities that are ahead of large cities such as Nairobi or Kigali by an American global development agency. Kampala is also the 13th ranked city in the world when it comes to the fastest industry growth rate.

Yudi Soetjiptadi, managing director of Eventus International, said:

“Kampala’s growing population, increased infrastructure development, and vibrant culture make it the perfect location for getting a broad view of the East African sports betting sector. Those are some of the reasons why we chose the Kampala Serena Hotel last year and based on the overwhelmingly positive responses we got from delegates, we are excited to return to Kampala for the 4th Annual Sports Betting East Africa Summit. “

The sports betting industry is one of the largest markets in the city and this explains the high number of sportsbook shops in the area. The high broadband connection makes it possible for most residents to have a good internet connection for iGaming or sportsbook websites.

SBEA Summit 2018 at Kampala Serena Hotel

The venue of the summit is the Kampala Serena Hotel which is located in the middle of Kampala. This is a luxury five-star hotel that has 152 high-quality rooms. The outdoor area of the hotel has 7.2 acres of garden and water pool areas.

Delegates will have almost all their needs taken care of at the Kampala Serena Hotel. The venue has various bars and restaurants around the grounds which are a good place for meetings and networking opportunities.

Jordan Crossley, conference producer of the Sports Betting East Africa Summit, said:

“We envision delegates taking every opportunity to arrange meetings and get to know each other in the 5-star luxury of the Kampala Serena Hotel. The venue sets the scene for getting deals signed and celebrating new ventures all in one place”
