Mermaid Serenade: An Entertaining Three-Reel Slot?
When you think of three-reel slots, you probably will not notice them among the numerous crypto slots available. With so many slot games offering smoother animation and more rewarding bonuses, it is hard to pay attention to more classic titles.
But there are three-reel games out there that might make you change your mind. One of them is Saucify’s Mermaid Serenade slot. Unlike other classic slots that are set in a virtual slot machine, this game takes you underwater. In fact, you may not figure out that it is a slot at first because of the lack of reels. Still, the game acts like other three-reel games, only with bigger payouts. Read through this Mermaid Serenade slot review to find more reasons for playing this slot.
Graphics and Sounds
Set under the sea, only long pieces of seaweed divide the slot into three rows and three reels. The graphics may not be as sophisticated as those found in video slots, but it does the job of making you feel like you are underwater. The seabed is colored in light brown sand, and light reflects to capture the surface from above.
On the reels, you will encounter several underwater creatures. One of them is the mermaid, reminiscent of Ariel from the movie The Little Mermaid. You will also meet the low-paying symbols such as shellfish and clownfish. Meanwhile, the game has a unique sound in which a space-like track plays as you spin the reels. This might take some getting used to, especially since it does not relate to the theme of Mermaid Serenade.
Mermaid Serenade is set in a 3×3-grid layout with five adjustable paylines that pay from left to right. You can adjust your betting sessions through the Settings section at the bottom of the screen. Sadly, you do not have the option to remove the animation and sounds of the game.
But before you spin the reels, adjust your wager first. There are five levels in total with 25 coins as the highest bet available. If you want to play it safe, you can set your bet to the lowest amount, which is 5 coins for all pay lines. For easier gameplay, use the Auto Spin option to let the reels spin automatically up to 100 times.
