The best Bitcoin dice sites in October 2026 are the casinos that run their own provably fair dice game with a low, published house edge: Stake’s Dice at 1%, BC.Game’s Classic Dice at 2%, and FortuneJack’s dice originals. Crypto dice is a simple game: a number from 0 to 100 is rolled, you choose a target and a direction, and the payout grows as your win chance shrinks. This guide compares the sites, shows the payout maths in BTC, and explains how to verify a roll yourself.

The casinos below accept international players outside each brand’s restricted list. None of them accepts players from the United States or the United Kingdom; Stake in particular excludes the US, where Stake.us is a separate sweepstakes site. US readers can see our guide for US crypto players.

Best crypto dice sites compared

We list only casinos where we could confirm a dice game on the operator’s own pages or in our verified casino data. The house edge column uses the figure each operator publishes.

Casino Dice game Stated house edge Provably fair Licence
Stake Dice (Stake Originals, since 2017) 1% (99% RTP) Yes Curaçao Gaming Authority OGL/2024/1451/0918 (Medium Rare N.V.)
BC.Game Classic Dice (BC Originals) 2% (98% RTP) Yes Anjouan ALSI-202410011-FI1 (Twocent Technology Limited)
FortuneJack Dice among its in-house originals See the game’s info panel Yes Anjouan ALSI-202411021-FI1 (PlayWave SRL)

Stake’s version has the lowest edge we could verify and the deepest auto-bet tools. BC.Game offers a large coin list with in-site swap, which helps if you hold less common tokens. FortuneJack has run as a crypto casino since 2014 and adds a sportsbook. Read our full Stake review, BC.Game review and FortuneJack review for payments, limits and support.

Many other casinos carry provider dice games, such as Spribe’s Dice with a stated 97% RTP. Those games work the same way but usually cost more per bet than the in-house versions above.

How Bitcoin dice works

Each round produces a random number, normally between 0.00 and 100.00. Before rolling you set three things:

  • Bet amount in your chosen coin.
  • Target number, moved with a slider.
  • Direction: roll over or roll under the target.

The target and direction together define your win chance. Roll under 50 is roughly a 50% chance; roll over 80 is a 20% chance. The casino then shows the multiplier it pays on a win. Rolls are instant, so a single click resolves the bet, and auto-bet lets you run hundreds of rolls with rules such as “increase the bet after a loss” or “stop after a set profit or loss”. Stake’s own page lists these examples:

Win chance Roll over Multiplier
80% 20 1.2375x
65% 35 1.5231x
49.5% 50.50 2x
35% 65 2.8286x
20% 80 4.95x
2% 98 49.5x

Every row follows one formula: multiplier = (100 minus the house edge) divided by the win chance. At a 1% edge that is 99 divided by the win chance, so a 20% chance pays 99 / 20 = 4.95x.

House edge and payout maths in BTC

Because the edge is built into the multiplier, it applies equally to every target. A 2% chance shot and a 98% chance grind cost the same per unit staked; only the variance differs.

Take a bet of 0.001 BTC at a 49.5% win chance on Stake’s Dice. A win pays 2x, returning 0.002 BTC. The expected return is 0.495 x 0.002 = 0.00099 BTC, so the average loss per bet is 0.00001 BTC, exactly 1% of the stake. On BC.Game’s Classic Dice at 2%, the same 49.5% chance pays 98 / 49.5, about 1.98x, and the average loss doubles to 0.00002 BTC per bet. A provider dice game at 97% RTP costs 0.00003 BTC per bet.

The difference grows with volume. Dice is fast, and auto-bet can place 1,000 rolls in minutes. At 0.001 BTC a roll, 1,000 rolls are 1 BTC of turnover:

Game House edge Expected loss on 1 BTC turnover
Stake Dice 1% 0.01 BTC
BC.Game Classic Dice 2% 0.02 BTC
Spribe Dice 3% 0.03 BTC

Real results swing around these averages, sometimes far above and often below. Treat the expected loss as the price of play and size bets so that a long session fits your budget.

Choosing a win chance: variance in practice

Since the edge is the same at every target, your choice of win chance decides how bumpy the ride is. High win chances give frequent small wins and slow, steady drift towards the expected loss. Low win chances give long dry spells broken by large payouts.

Consider a 2% chance paying 49.5x at Stake. The probability of 100 rolls in a row without a single win is 0.98 to the power of 100, about 13%. Over 200 rolls it is still close to 2%. A player betting 0.0001 BTC a roll at that target can therefore lose 0.01 BTC or more before the first hit with no fault in the game. At a 49.5% chance, by contrast, five losses in a row happen about 3% of the time. Pick the target that matches your balance: the smaller the win chance, the more base bets your balance needs to cover a dry run.

Provably fair dice: how to check a roll

Provably fair systems prove that the casino fixed each roll before you bet and could not change it afterwards. The steps are similar at most dice sites.

  1. Read the hashed server seed shown in the fairness settings before you play. It is a fingerprint of the casino’s secret seed.
  2. Set your own client seed. Because the casino cannot know it in advance, it cannot pick a server seed that beats it.
  3. Play. Each roll combines server seed, client seed and a nonce (a counter that rises by one per bet) in a published formula.
  4. Rotate the seed pair. The casino then reveals the old server seed.
  5. Verify. Hash the revealed seed and check it matches the fingerprint from step 1, then recompute a few rolls with an independent verifier and compare them with your bet history.

Our provably fair guide walks through the check in more detail. Remember the limit of the method: it proves the roll was fair, not that the casino will pay your withdrawal.

Betting systems: why Martingale fails

Dice sites make betting systems easy to automate, which is why they are popular here. Martingale doubles the stake after each loss so that one win recovers everything plus the base bet. The flaw is the losing streak.

Start with 0.00001 BTC at a 49.5% chance. After ten straight losses you have lost 0.01023 BTC, and the eleventh bet must be 0.01024 BTC to stay on plan. Ten losses in a row at a 50.5% loss rate happen with a probability of about 0.108%, roughly once in 930 sequences. Run auto-bet long enough and that streak arrives, often followed by a longer one that exceeds your balance or the table maximum. Over time the system wins many tiny amounts and loses a few huge ones; the 1% edge on total turnover is unchanged.

Other systems (D’Alembert, Paroli, delayed Martingale) reshape the swings in different ways. None of them changes the expected loss per unit staked. Use auto-bet’s stop-on-loss setting as a budget tool rather than as a strategy.

Bitcoin dice vs traditional dice games

Crypto dice shares little with dice games at a land casino. Craps and sic bo use physical dice with fixed bet types, while crypto dice is a single random number with a risk level you choose. See our craps guide for the traditional game, where the pass line carries a 1.41% edge.

Benefits of Bitcoin dice

  • Low published edges at the best sites, 1% at Stake.
  • Results you can verify yourself with provably fair seeds.
  • Any risk level from near-certain small wins to long shots.
  • Instant rounds and very small minimum bets in crypto units.

Drawbacks of Bitcoin dice

  • Speed: fast rounds and auto-bet raise turnover, and with it the cost per hour.
  • Bonus terms often exclude dice or count it at a low rate towards wagering.
  • In-house games exist only at the casino that built them, so you cannot compare the same title across sites.
  • Offshore licences give weaker player protection than a licence in your own country.

Dice is treated as casino gambling, so the rules of your country apply. The sites in our table hold offshore licences from the Curaçao Gaming Authority (Stake) or Anjouan (BC.Game, FortuneJack). Those licences let the operators accept players from countries not on their restricted lists, but they do not override national law, and casinos can void winnings from players who break their country rules.

Complaint routes differ. The Curaçao Gaming Authority does not mediate individual disputes: complain to the casino first, then to one of its certified dispute resolution bodies. Anjouan’s process starts with the operator through the site’s licence seal, gives it 30 days, and then moves to dispute resolution paid for by the operator. Our licence hub explains both.

How to choose a crypto dice site

  • Published edge: the edge or RTP should be shown in the game. Lower is cheaper.
  • Restricted countries: read the list in the terms before you deposit.
  • Licence: a number you can look up with the regulator.
  • Bonuses: check whether dice counts towards wagering. Stake has no fixed welcome match and rewards play through its VIP programme and rakeback, while BC.Game releases its deposit bonus as you wager.
  • Crypto banking: the coins and networks you use, plus withdrawal minimums.
  • Fairness tools: seed settings and a bet history detailed enough to verify.
  • Limits and support: deposit limits, cool-off and self-exclusion, and live chat that answers questions about rolls.

How to play Bitcoin dice step by step

  1. Register at a casino from the list and read its restricted-country list.
  2. Deposit a small amount of crypto on the network the cashier names.
  3. Open the dice game and set your own client seed in the fairness settings.
  4. Pick a bet size that is a small fraction of your balance, for example 1%.
  5. Choose a target and roll over or under; check the multiplier and win chance.
  6. Roll manually at first. If you use auto-bet, set a stop-on-loss limit.
  7. Rotate your seed pair now and then and verify a few rolls.

What happened to PrimeDice?

PrimeDice was one of the first Bitcoin dice sites and is still a common search. It announced its closure in August 2025, told players to withdraw their funds, and stopped taking bets on 8 October 2025, pointing users to Stake.com, which the same founders run. No balance migration was promised. Our PrimeDice page keeps the history; do not deposit at any site that uses the name today.

Play dice responsibly

Dice is one of the fastest casino games, which makes it easy to stake far more than you planned. Set a budget in coins, use the casino’s deposit limits and session reminders, and stop when the budget is gone. Our responsible gambling page lists tools and support, including Gamblers Anonymous. You must be 18 or older, or older where local law requires it. For other crypto casino games, start at our games hub.

Frequently asked questions (FAQ)

What is Bitcoin dice?

Bitcoin dice is a crypto casino game in which a random number between 0 and 100 is rolled and you bet on whether it lands over or under a target you choose. A lower win chance pays a higher multiplier. Most versions are in-house originals with provably fair results.

What is the house edge on crypto dice?

It depends on the casino, because operators set it themselves. Stake’s Dice states a 1% house edge (99% RTP) and BC.Game’s Classic Dice 2% (98% RTP). Spribe’s provider version of Dice states a 97% RTP, a 3% edge. Check the game’s info panel before you play.

Can you win at Bitcoin dice in the long run?

No betting pattern overcomes the house edge, because every roll is independent and every bet carries the same negative expected value. You can win in a session through variance, but over thousands of rolls the expected loss is the edge times your total stake.

Is Bitcoin dice provably fair?

Most in-house dice games are. The casino commits to a hashed server seed before you bet, combines it with your client seed and a nonce to produce each roll, and reveals the server seed when you rotate it so you can recheck past results. Provider dice games use certified random number generators instead.

Does the Martingale strategy work on crypto dice?

No. Doubling after each loss wins small amounts often but eventually meets a losing streak that hits the casino’s maximum bet or your balance. At a 49.5% win chance, ten losses in a row happen about once in 930 sequences, and recovering them needs a stake 1,024 times the base bet.

Is PrimeDice still open?

No. PrimeDice, one of the first Bitcoin dice sites, stopped taking bets on 8 October 2025 after announcing its closure in August 2025 and pointing players to Stake.com, which is run by the same founders.
