What GoBet.io was

GoBet.io was not a casino. It was a peer-to-peer platform on a blockchain where users staked crypto on whether an asset’s price would end higher or lower than at the start of a round, much like binary options. Our earlier review pointed out that it offered no slots, poker or card games, and that activity on the platform was thin. Products of this kind often sit outside both gambling and financial regulation, which leaves users with little protection when they shut down.
