Payments & Crypto Guides Editor

Lukas Brandt

Lukas writes the guides on Best Bitcoin Casino: wallets, exchanges, payment methods and the explainers on how crypto deposits and withdrawals really work. He also edits the news section and the evergreen game guides.

His rule is that every technical figure comes from the people who build the thing. Network confirmation times come from the protocol documentation, wallet features from the wallet maker's own pages, exchange rules from the exchange's terms and the regulator's register. When a product changes or is discontinued, his guide says so plainly and dates the check.

Typical questions his pages answer: which network to choose when a casino accepts USDT on several chains, why a Bitcoin withdrawal can take an hour, how fees are set, what a hardware wallet protects you from and what it does not, and how provably fair games can be verified with the seed values a casino publishes.

Lukas keeps prices out of his articles, because they go stale within hours; the live price strip at the top of the site does that job instead. Worked examples use round illustrative amounts and are labelled as examples.

Every guide lists its sources and is fact-checked by Elena Márquez before it goes live.

Decentralized Crypto Casinos: How Web3 and Smart-Contract Casinos Work

A decentralized casino (also called a web3, smart-contract or on-chain casino) runs bets through code on a blockchain instead of on a company’s private servers. You connect a self-custody wallet such as MetaMask, each bet is a transaction to a smart contract, and the contract pays out automatically from a bankroll that anyone can inspect. … Read more

Elon Musk and MrBeast Crypto Casino Scams: How Deepfake Ads Work

Elon Musk does not run a crypto casino, and neither does MrBeast (Jimmy Donaldson). The videos in which they appear to launch a “new bitcoin casino” and hand out a promo code are deepfakes: footage and voices altered with generative software to sell a scam. Almost every version follows one script. The site credits you … Read more

What Is a Crypto Casino? How Bitcoin and Crypto Casinos Work

A crypto casino is an online casino that takes deposits and pays withdrawals in cryptocurrency, such as bitcoin (BTC), ether (ETH) or the USDT stablecoin, instead of (or alongside) bank cards and e-wallets. You send coins from your own wallet to an address the casino gives you, play slots, table games or the site’s own … Read more

Dice gambling means betting on the result of one or more rolled dice, either physical dice thrown at a table (craps, sic bo, Bac Bo) or a number drawn by software (crypto “dice” games). To play, you pick a bet, the dice decide it, and the casino pays at fixed odds that are slightly worse … Read more

Roulette House Edge: Odds, Maths and Payouts by Wheel

The roulette house edge is 2.70% on a single-zero (European) wheel and 5.26% on a double-zero (American) wheel, with one American bet, the five-number “top line”, at 7.89%. French tables that apply la partage cut the edge on even-money bets to 1.35%, while triple-zero wheels push it to 7.69%. Those figures come straight from counting … Read more

When to Surrender in Blackjack: The Exact Hands

You should surrender in blackjack when your hand is so weak against the dealer’s up card that you expect to lose more than half your bet by playing it out. In a standard six- or eight-deck game where the dealer stands on soft 17, that means surrendering hard 16 against a dealer 9, 10 or … Read more

Blackjack Odds: Win Rates, Bust Odds and House Edge

With good rules and perfect basic strategy, blackjack has a house edge of roughly 0.3% to 0.6%, which makes it one of the cheapest games in any casino. That does not mean you win often: on a six-deck game with good rules, the player wins about 42.4% of hands, pushes 8.5% and loses 49.1%. The … Read more

How to Play Blackjack: Rules, Table Flow and Basic Strategy

To play blackjack, you place a bet, receive two cards, and try to finish closer to 21 than the dealer without going over. Number cards count face value, tens and court cards count 10, and an ace counts 1 or 11. You choose to hit, stand, double, split or (where offered) surrender; the dealer then … Read more

Those three numbers, published by the Wizard of Odds, … Read more

Chemin de Fer Rules: How to Play Chemmy Baccarat

Chemin de fer is the player-banked form of baccarat: the players take turns holding the bank, the casino only deals and collects a commission on the banker’s wins, and the person holding the Player hand may choose to draw or stand on a total of 5. Card values, naturals and the banker’s drawing table are … Read more
