Interview with iGaming Entrepreneur

Igaming Entrepreneur

Sports manager and business promoter

We’ve had the opportunity to talk to an entrepreneur in the iGaming industry. He decided to share with how he started in the industry, the effect of the coronavirus pandemic on the business, and the significance of crypto and blockchain in iGaming.

To start with, please tell us something more about your background and how you entered the iGaming industry with the brands you are currently operating.

Together with my best friend and business partner, I have been in sports management and promotion business before. We also run several other businesses like a marketing agency, a vodka brand and art trading company to mention some of them here only. We entered the iGaming industry some years ago by meeting the founder of the world’s best casino platform software company, SoftSwiss. This meeting was the beginning of our way into iGaming business and we are happy to have met this outstanding person with whom we have been able to bring so many game-changing projects to reality.

How is living in Malta, compared to Germany – both professionally and personally?

From the professional point of view Malta is a singularity, the HotSpot of iGaming and the home of the most important conference of the industry, SiGMA, founded by native Maltese Eman Pulis. Malta is the melting pot of gambling industry and a must-have business location. Platform providers, game aggregators, game providers, payment providers, operators, affiliates and all other kind of gambling-related operations are located within few square miles of rock and stones. As I don’t separate between business and personal life, it is the best place to be for the moment.

How is the current situation affecting your business so far? If you have noticed any changes, in what direction?

We all have to handle the situation and I am happy to give people all around the world the possibility to have some hours of recreation from the daily stress. To be isolated at home is hard so our responsibility as a part of entertainment industry is to spend moments of luck and happiness. In business we had to postpone some of our planned boxing and MMA shows but we try to give the people in return another possibility of entertainment without the risk of infection. We all lose money but most important is the health of us, our friends, families, employees and of course our players all around the world. Stay home, stay safe.

What are your biggest challenges in this current world situation? Do you see it as more challenging or full of opportunities for your business?

We have to be aware that life can always change, so we should try to be the gamechanger in the fields we are able to. As now sports events are shut down worldwide, we want to bring boxing into the world of iGaming entertainment by a cooperation with world’s most reputable professional sanctionary body WBC World Boxing Council and BGaming. Keep the sports alive and combine it with the possibilities of new media and entertainment channels to spend happiness and luck to the people.

What is the secret of a highly performing online casino nowadays?

To be trustworthy, pay out withdrawal requests in the shortest possible time, provide the best possible playing experience and friendly and helpful customer support.

What do you think of the growing part of crypto/ blockchain in the iGaming industry and why most operators are late in applying those?

We trust in our crypto iGaming assets and are happy that a lot of players can enjoy the reliable crypto processing service of CoinsPaid, available at all Curacao and Estonia-licensed brands on SoftSwiss casino platform. Many operators missed this open door to the future of gambling. It’s never too late to migrate a brand to SoftSwiss platform and use the powerful crypto processing possibilities of CoinsPaid.

What are the top 3 most performing games? What about markets?

Book of Dead by Play n Go – Germany

Starburst by NetEnt – Nordics

Deep Sea by BGaming – Australia and Canada
