Crypto Casino Licence Validity Index (31 October 2026)

The Licence Validity Index is a dated table of 40 crypto casino licence entries, each checked on 31 October 2026 against a regulator seal, a regulator register or both. 28 entries verified cleanly, 8 verified with a date, review status or open item worth watching, and 4 are marked Not verified. Nothing here is a guess: where we could not confirm a fact, the table says so.

Which crypto casinos have a valid licence today?

As of 31 October 2026, 36 of the 40 entries below tie a named company to a named regulator through a primary check. Curaçao, Anjouan and Tobique cover almost all of them, and one uses Kahnawake. Status words differ by regulator, so read the method column instead of treating every “verified” entry as equal.

Dual entries are real. Operators can show different licences by visitor country, so the licence you see depends on where you connect from. 7Bit shows Tobique to a German visitor and the Curaçao Gaming Authority to a Canadian one. Two brands also appear twice in the registers under older entities: bitcasino.io sat under Moon Technologies B.V. and sportsbet.io under MBet Solutions N.V. in the CGA register dated 30 October 2026, while their live seals now point to Anjouan.

What does “assessment in progress” mean on the Curaçao register?

“Assessment in progress” means the Curaçao Gaming Authority has not yet given a final decision on a licence. In the register dated 30 October 2026, all 298 entries with this wording show a printed expiry date that has already passed. The CGA said in December 2025 that the status remains unaffected until a final decision reaches the operator.

A past date beside that status is therefore not the same as an expired licence, and the register has a separate “Expired” label. It does mean the review is unfinished, so an indefinite licence is the stronger result. The register also warns that its overviews do not guarantee current validity and that no rights can be derived from them.

The remaining entries in the 666-row file carry fixed dates. Counts come from our own reading of the PDF, which mixes B2C and B2B licences.

What happens on 24 December 2026 under the Curaçao law?

On 24 December 2026 the two-year transition under the National Ordinance on Games of Chance ends for suppliers. Curaçao-based suppliers of critical services need a CGA licence and registration, and foreign suppliers need registration. Casino licences do not expire that day. Operators, though, may no longer do business with unregistered suppliers under article 5.16(4) of the law.

For a player the practical risk is thinner game lobbies, or a sudden change of payment or software partner, at casinos whose suppliers miss the date. No source we found says any listed casino will lose its licence because of this deadline. Which licence dates should players watch next?

FortuneJack is the nearest date in this index: the Anjouan register prints 3 November 2026 as the expiry of ALSI-202411021-FI1. Across the whole Anjouan register, 194 of 1,298 entries print an expiry between now and 31 December 2026, and 77 print a date already past while still showing “valid”. A printed date is a prompt to re-check.

How do I verify a casino licence myself?

Open the casino footer, note the company and licence number, then click the seal. It must open the regulator’s own domain and name the exact site you are on. Compare the company and number with the regulator register where one exists. A badge image with no working link proves nothing, and neither does a licence number typed into a footer.

1. Read the footer on the exact domain you use, from the country you play in.
2. Click the seal. For Curaçao it should open cert.cga.cw. For Anjouan it opens verification.anjouangamingboard.org, and for Tobique validate.thetgc.ca.
3. Do not type the domain into those validators by hand. Bare lookups for Winz.io, Koru Casino and Foxy Gold all returned INVALID on 31 October 2026, while the same sites’ own seal links returned VALID.
4. Check the register: the CGA licence register or the Anjouan public register.
5. Open seals fresh. Anjouan seal pages time out after about 20 minutes, so an old link shows an expiry message.

How was this licence index built?

On 31 October 2026 we loaded each casino’s home page from Canada, Germany or the Netherlands, read the footer, and opened any seal link it carried. We then compared the result with the CGA register dated 30 October 2026, the Anjouan register and the Kahnawake permit list. We made no deposits and tested no withdrawals.

Casino rows come from the brands on our lists plus other large crypto brands we could reach. “Register” means a regulator’s own list; “footer” means the operator’s statement, which we treat as weaker. The CGA said on 7 October 2026 that seal availability would be affected by its portal change, yet the seals we opened on 31 October still loaded.

Does a valid licence mean a crypto casino is safe?

No. A valid licence confirms that a named company holds permission from a named regulator on the check date. It says nothing about reserves, hot wallet security or how quickly a dispute ends. Is Stake licensed in October 2026?

Stake’s licences page names Medium Rare N.V. and CGA licence OGL/2024/1451/0918 for stake.com. The CGA register dated 30 October 2026 lists the same number as Assessment in progress with a printed expiry of 9 June 2026. That status means the review has not reached a final decision, and the CGA says status stays unaffected until then.

Why does a licence checker say INVALID for a licensed casino?

Tobique and Anjouan validators need the seal link generated on the casino’s own page. Typing a bare domain into the validator returns INVALID even for a licensed site. On 31 October 2026 this happened with Foxy Gold, Koru Casino and Winz.io, and each site’s own seal link then returned VALID with the licensed company named.

Do Curaçao casino licences end on 24 December 2026?

No. That date ends the transition for suppliers, who must then be licensed or registered with the Curaçao Gaming Authority. Casino licences keep their own status and dates. From that day, licensed operators may not do business with unregistered suppliers, so the effect on casinos is indirect and depends on each operator’s partners.

Which is stronger, an indefinite licence or assessment in progress?

An indefinite licence is the finished outcome: the Curaçao register shows no end date. Assessment in progress means the CGA has not finished its review, and the printed date has passed. Neither status proves a casino will pay, but an open review carries more uncertainty than a completed one, so smaller deposits are sensible.

What does Not verified mean in this index?

Not verified means we could not confirm the regulator, number or holder from a primary source on the check date, usually because the site blocked our check. It does not mean the casino is unlicensed. Ask the casino for its seal link, then confirm the details on the regulator’s own domain before you deposit anything.

How often is this licence index updated?

Each row carries its own last-checked date, and we change that date only after rechecking the row. The first full check ran on 31 October 2026. Register files change often, so if a date here is more than a few weeks old, run the five steps above yourself before you rely on it.
