Acquisition of Affiliate Summit
With the Acquisition deal of the Affiliate Summit Corporation, Clarion Events now holds the brand of the Affiliate Summit tradeshow and conference, FeedFront Magazine, GeekCast.fm, the annual AffState industry benchmark reports, and ReveNews.com.
Since 2003, the Affiliate Summit has been offering educational sessions on the current trends in the affiliate market. The company also offers a good environment for affiliates to network with important figures.
By partnering with Affiliate Summit, Clarion Events and its iGB Affiliate brand can expand the offerings of these companies. This includes the chance for Affiliate Summit to hold its Affiliate Marketing tradeshow and conference overseas and not just in the US.
There are no changes in Affiliate Summit management. Shawn Collins and Missy Ward, the co-founders of Affiliate Summit, will continue to manage the company with the help of its team.
