Multibanco is an ATM-based payment system that services only casino gamers residing in Portugal. Its operator, Sociedade Interbancária de Serviços SA, launched in 1985 with 12 machines and has since expanded Multibanco’s services to over 11,000 machines in the country. To do so, they must first register with Multibanco to obtain a card. After topping up their virtual card, they can proceed to transfer funds to their casino account. Gamers must take note, though, that the highest amount they can deposit into their Multibanco cards is €400.
