Winz.io Review 2026: Wager-Free Rewards, Licence and Payouts

Short answer: Winz.io is a crypto-first casino and sportsbook run by Novatrix SRL of Costa Rica under Anjouan licence ALSI-202508056-FI2. Its pitch is wager-free rewards: a welcome wheel, daily cashback and a rakeback programme with no rollover. It does not accept players from the US, the UK, Spain, the Netherlands, Portugal, Poland, Finland and dozens of other countries, and the licence itself also excludes Australia and France.

The licence is easy to check. The Anjouan seal in the footer opens a validator page that, when we checked it on 7 October 2026, named Novatrix SRL, listed winz.io as the registered website and showed the status VALID. Winz.io is one of the cleaner bonus models among offshore crypto casinos. Rewards land as real money or free spins with no rollover, so you are not chasing a 40x or 50x target with a 5 USD bet cap. Cashback and rakeback make up most of the long-term value, and both are explained with formulas in the terms.

The weak points are elsewhere. Behind the homepage headline of “up to 130 mBTC” sits the top prize of a random wheel, not a matched bonus, and the bonus terms list a Gold-wheel top cash prize of 5,000 USD; most spins land on smaller prizes. Its restricted list is long. Inactive accounts start paying 25 USD a month after only six months. Fiat players also face a 3x deposit-turnover rule before withdrawal.

We rate it 4.3 out of 5 under our rating method: strong for crypto players who value cashback and fast payouts, less so for anyone who wants a big guaranteed match bonus.

Who runs Winz.io

Section 1.1 of the terms names Novatrix SRL, company registration number 3-102-893958, with a registered address in Potrero Cerrado, Oreamuno, Cartago, Costa Rica. The same company operates Koru Casino, which runs under a separate Tobique Gaming Commission licence. The footer shows “Copyright © 2020-2026”, consistent with the brand having been around since 2020. Its licence comes from the Offshore Finance Authority of the State of Anjouan, under the Computer Gaming Licensing Act 007 of 2005. That permit requires an ADR service, AML controls, responsible gaming tools and certified RNGs. It does not offer the deposit protection or binding complaint rulings of a European regulator.

Verify the licence in five steps

1. Scroll to the bottom of winz.io and click the Anjouan seal.
2. Check the page opens on verification.anjouangamingboard.org and that the address bar carries a seal_id. A bare domain lookup can return INVALID even for a licensed site.
3. Match the company name (Novatrix SRL) and the licence number ALSI-202508056-FI2 with the footer.
4. Read the status line: VALID on 7 October 2026.
5. Read the excluded territories on the validator: Australia, Comoros, France, Netherlands, Spain, United Kingdom and USA, plus FATF-blacklisted and sanctioned jurisdictions.

Welcome offers: pick one

Winz.io gives new players four welcome routes, and they cannot be combined. The wheel is the default for a first deposit made without a code. The cashback deals need a code on one of the first three deposits.

Welcome Wheel of Winz

After the first deposit you get one spin of the Wheel of Winz. The size of the deposit decides the wheel:

All wheel rewards are wager free. Cash prizes are shown in USD and paid in your deposit currency. Free spins are played on Big Bass Bonanza (Pragmatic Play) and must be activated and used within one day. No bonus code should be entered on that first deposit, or the wheel does not trigger.

One contradiction to flag: the homepage advertises the welcome offer as “up to C$16,000 or 130 mBTC” to Canadian visitors, while the bonus terms list 5,000 USD as the largest Gold-wheel cash prize. The C$16,000 figure also appears on the regular Wheel of Winz, which existing players can spin three times a week. Base your decision on the prize list in the bonus terms.

Welcome Crypto Cashback: 20% for 7 days

Crypto players can instead enter the code CRYPTO with one of their first three deposits, as long as that deposit is in crypto. For up to seven cashback days you get 20% of your net crypto losses back the next day, between 9:00 and 10:00 UTC. The days do not need to be consecutive.

• Cashback is real money, with no wagering and no upper cap.
• Net loss is total bets minus winnings for that UTC calendar day, on days you make a qualifying crypto deposit.
• All games count, but only play from the crypto wallet.
• Cashback must be used within 14 days or it is removed.

Worked example in mBTC

Suppose you deposit 5 mBTC on a cashback day, play slots, and finish the day with 1.5 mBTC left. Your net loss is 3.5 mBTC. The next morning 20% of that, 0.7 mBTC, is credited as withdrawable cash.

Now compare the Gold wheel on a first deposit of 1 mBTC (0.001 BTC). You get one spin and a random prize, from 100 free spins up to a 5,000 USD cash prize. The wheel can pay more on a lucky spin; the cashback pays a known share of real losses. For a player who expects to lose some of a large first deposit, the 20% cashback has the steadier value. For a small first deposit, the wheel costs nothing extra.

Ongoing rewards: WinzUp, wheels and VIP

WinzUp is the loyalty programme. It has 20 levels in four bands (Bronze, Silver, Gold and Diamond), starting at level 0, and progress comes from real-money casino and sports bets converted to USD. Winz.io advertises “up to 35% in rewards”, made of three parts:

At Bronze 1 (100 USD turnover), the published rates are 1% weekly cashback, 1% level-up rakeback and 5% daily rakeback; Bronze 5 needs 50,000 USD turnover and pays 5% weekly cashback. Rewards are credited separately in each currency you play, and anything below 0.10 USD waits until it adds up.

Because rakeback is a share of the house edge, not of your stake, its value is smaller than the headline percentage suggests. Example: 1,000 USDT of slot bets on a game with a 4% edge gives an expected house take of 40 USDT; 5% daily rakeback on that is 2 USDT. Useful, but not a reason to play more.

Beyond WinzUp, existing players can spin the Wheel of Winz three times a week, join slot tournaments and the monthly Drops and Wins prize pools, and claim a weekly 10 EUR “Four to Score” free bet on the sportsbook. Who cannot claim bonuses

Players from Sweden, Spain, France, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Sint Maarten (Dutch part), Curaçao and Lithuania are excluded from all bonuses and rewards. Several of those countries are on the real-money restricted list too. No-deposit bonuses, when offered, come with 40x wagering on slots only, a 100 EUR cap on winnings and three-day deadlines to activate, play and wager.

Free-spin rules apply across promotions: no spin may be worth more than 1 EUR unless stated, and winnings from any set of free spins are capped at 5,000 EUR unless the promotion says otherwise.

Payments: coins, minimums and maximums

The payments page lists twelve coins plus cards and other fiat methods (EUR methods mostly 20 to 4,000 EUR per transaction, CAD methods 30 to 6,000 CAD). Winz.io says it absorbs most deposit fees. Crypto deposits run through CoinsPaid, according to the terms.

The payments page lists no maximum on crypto deposits and labels crypto processing as instant. The general terms set a 20 USD (or equivalent) minimum deposit and a 20 USD minimum withdrawal, so the cashier may enforce a higher floor than the coin table shows. Always copy the deposit address and the network from the cashier for the exact coin you send; USDT and USDC exist on several chains, and a transfer on the wrong one is usually lost. Bitcoin replace-by-fee warning

Section 9.7 of the terms says that if a Bitcoin deposit is flagged as replaceable (opt-in replace-by-fee), Winz.io may close the account and withhold winnings. Many wallets enable RBF by default. Turn it off for casino deposits, or use a wallet that lets you choose.

Withdrawals: rules, limits and times

One more cost rule: if you withdraw after betting less than three times your last deposit, Winz.io may charge deposit and withdrawal processing fees (terms 9.8). For crypto, the 1x turnover rule is the formal requirement, but the 3x line is where fees can start. Bank transfers take 1 to 5 days according to the payments page.

KYC and account rules

As of October 2026, Winz.io does not require documents to sign up, but the terms allow it to ask for ID at any point and before the first withdrawal. Expect a request for a government photo ID, proof of address and proof of payment method, possibly a phone call, and a video check if your documents are not in Latin or Cyrillic script. Withdrawals stay pending until checks are done. Under enhanced due diligence, source of funds and source of wealth can be requested.

• One account per person, address, household, IP address and device.
• VPNs and proxies that hide your location are banned.

Originals and provably fair scope

Winz.io runs its own originals: dice, plinko, blackjack and roulette under the “originals” label. Those are the games where seed-based provably fair checks can apply, so you can verify a round after it is played. The sportsbook shares the casino wallet and covers football, basketball, American football, ice hockey and other sports, with live odds on the homepage. Sports bets count towards WinzUp levels, with the house edge for rakeback taken from each market’s margin, capped at 10%. Crypto or fiat at Winz.io: what changes

The same account can hold both, but the rules differ enough to change how you should play.

If you already hold crypto, the crypto wallet is cheaper to use: lower turnover, no withdrawal-count fees and the 20% welcome cashback. If you need firm deposit limits to stay in control, the fiat side is the safer choice, even with its stricter withdrawal rules. Keep the two apart in your head: only play from the crypto wallet counts towards the crypto welcome cashback.

A first week at Winz.io in numbers

Here is how the crypto welcome route plays out over a week, using round numbers and no luck either way. Say you take code CRYPTO, make three crypto deposits of 5 mBTC on three different days, and lose 2 mBTC net on each of those days.

• Crypto cashback: 20% of 2 mBTC = 0.4 mBTC per day, so 1.2 mBTC over three cashback days, paid as cash the following mornings. Four cashback days remain for later.
• Deposit turnover: each 5 mBTC deposit needs 5 mBTC of bets before it can be withdrawn. A typical slot session clears that quickly.
• WinzUp: if total bets reach the equivalent of 100 USD you hit Bronze 1, with 5% daily rakeback on the house edge of your bets.

What the Anjouan licence protects, and what it does not

An Anjouan licence tells you that a named company has been vetted at some level, that it must keep AML procedures, offer self-exclusion and deposit limits, use certified RNGs and give players access to ADR. That is more than an unlicensed site offers.

It does not ring-fence player funds, and the regulator does not rule on your complaint. There is no national helpline or self-exclusion register attached to it, and no compensation scheme if the operator fails. Start with support and keep evidence: transaction hashes, screenshots and chat logs. Winz.io’s complaints page points players to the AskGamblers complaints service as an independent channel.

Under the Anjouan licence, the authority itself does not handle individual complaints. The route is a complaint through the site seal; the operator has 30 days to respond, and disputes about a game outcome must be raised within 14 days. If the dispute is still open after that, the operator must give you access to an independent ADR service that it pays for. A players’ forum complaint can add pressure, but the ADR route is the one tied to the licence.
