A Litecoin casino is an online casino that accepts LTC for deposits and withdrawals, usually next to Bitcoin, Ethereum and stablecoins. For October 2026, the Litecoin casinos we rate highest are BitStarz for all-round play, mBit and 7Bit for crypto welcome packages, Stake for its published LTC fees and limits, Winz.io for a bonus without wagering and Koru for regular reloads. Our partner Foxy Gold is on the list and labelled as a partner.

The seven casinos compared below each list Litecoin on their own pages or in their terms, checked in October 2026. We left off brands where we could not confirm LTC support from the operator itself, including some that appear elsewhere on this site.

Who can sign up: these casinos serve international players outside their restricted lists. None of them accepts players from the US or the UK where we checked the terms, so US readers should go to our guide for US players instead.

Which casinos accept Litecoin?

Seven casinos in our comparison list Litecoin on their own pages or terms: Foxy Gold, BitStarz, mBit, 7Bit, Stake, Winz.io and Koru. BitStarz quotes limits directly in LTC, Stake publishes LTC fees and limits, and 7Bit runs a dedicated Litecoin page. Licences come from the Curaçao Gaming Authority, the Tobique Gaming Commission or Anjouan.

Offers and licence numbers come from each operator’s own terms and footer in October 2026. Bonuses quoted in BTC, euros or dollars are converted at the casino’s rate when you deposit LTC, so check the cashier for the LTC equivalent before you send.

What does each Litecoin casino offer?

Each Litecoin casino differs on limits and bonus terms. BitStarz caps bets at 0.05 LTC while a bonus is active and free-spin winnings at 1.496 LTC, mBit runs a crypto-only cashier, and Foxy Gold processes LTC through XCoins. Wagering runs from none on Winz.io wheel prizes to 50x at Koru, so read past the headline offer.

Foxy Gold (partner)

Foxy Gold processes crypto through XCoins and lists eleven coins, Litecoin among them, alongside cards and e-wallets such as Skrill and MiFinity. Its licence comes from the Tobique Gaming Commission, whose validator names 3-102-937894 Limitada of Costa Rica and showed the seal as valid when we checked. New casino players get up to €1,200 plus 120 free spins on the first deposit with 35x bonus wagering, a €5 maximum bet while the bonus runs and a €2,000 cap on winnings from bonus funds. Default withdrawal limits are €4,000 a day and €10,000 a week. Since every cap is set in euros, an LTC deposit is converted at the day’s rate. Foxy Gold does not accept players from the US, the UK, the Netherlands, Malta, Bulgaria, Lithuania or Curaçao.

BitStarz

BitStarz is the most LTC-literate casino on this list: its bonus terms quote limits directly in Litecoin. With a bonus active, the maximum bet is 0.05 LTC. Winnings from free spins or no-deposit offers are capped at 1.496 LTC, and none of those winnings can be withdrawn until you have deposited at least 0.299 LTC. Gareton B.V. operates the casino under Curaçao Gaming Authority licence OGL/2024/165/0185. The welcome package reaches up to 5 BTC (or the equivalent in your currency) plus 180 free spins over four deposits, with 40x bonus wagering and seven days to use each bonus. Read the BitStarz review for its game and payout record.

mBit Casino

mBit runs a crypto-only cashier, and its homepage currency list shows BTC, ETH, LTC, BCH, USDT, XRP, TRX, BNB and ADA. Scores55 Tech B.V. holds Curaçao Gaming Authority licence OGL/2024/1307/0748 for the site. Three welcome steps (100% up to 1 BTC, 100% up to 1.5 BTC, 125% up to 1.5 BTC) add 325 free spins in total, each bonus carries 40x wagering, and the minimum deposit is 30 USDT or the crypto equivalent. In LTC terms, that minimum moves with the LTC/USDT rate, so check the cashier on the day. See the mBit review.

7Bit Casino

7Bit keeps a dedicated Litecoin gambling section, a filtered lobby of games you can play with an LTC balance, and accepts both crypto and fiat. Kika Technology B.V. operates it under Curaçao Gaming Authority licence OGL/2023/147/0081. Its welcome pack is 325% up to 5.25 BTC plus 250 free spins across four deposits at 35x wagering, and weekly cashback reaches up to 20%. Caps and bet limits differ by account currency, so read the version of the bonus terms that matches an LTC account. The 7Bit review covers the rest.

Stake

Stake publishes the clearest LTC payment data of any casino here. Its help centre accepts Litecoin only on the native Litecoin network, and its withdrawal table (updated August 2026) lists a minimum withdrawal of 0.01857329 LTC and a withdrawal fee of 0.000138 LTC. Stake also says there is no maximum withdrawal amount. Medium Rare N.V. runs the casino under Curaçao Gaming Authority licence OGL/2024/1451/0918. Instead of a fixed welcome match, rewards come through rakeback, VIP levels and regular promotions. Stake is not available in the US. More in the Stake review.

Winz.io

Winz.io names Litecoin among the coins it supports for deposits and withdrawals, next to Bitcoin, Ethereum, Ripple and Tether. Its welcome bonus reaches up to 130 mBTC (or the equivalent) with zero wagering, and crypto play earns 20% daily cashback. The site names licences from Anjouan and Tobique. For Litecoin players who dislike long rollover, this is the simplest offer on the page.

Koru Casino

Koru’s terms (section 4.1) list its accepted currencies as AUD, EUR, USD, BTC, NZD, CAD, ETH, USDT, LTC, DOGE and TRX, and they warn that crypto exchange rates can move between a bet and a withdrawal. Novatrix SRL runs Koru under Tobique Gaming Commission licence 0000002. The welcome package of up to €/$15,000 plus 350 free spins carries 50x wagering and a cashout cap of five times the bonus, while crypto deposits also earn a 5% bonus with no wagering. Koru opened in 2025.

How did we pick these Litecoin casinos?

Each casino on this page had to pass four checks in October 2026. First, the operator’s own site, terms or help centre had to show Litecoin as a payment option; a third-party review saying so was not enough. Second, the licence named in the footer had to match a company in the terms, with a licence number we could look up.

Third, the welcome offer had to be readable in the operator’s current terms, with wagering stated. Fourth, the casino had to serve international players outside the US and the UK.

Brands that failed the first check stay off this page even when they are on our other lists. FortuneJack and BC.Game, for example, are widely reported to take LTC, but their own pages did not confirm it for this update. Our partner casinos from the Softon Ltd group (Tenobet, Dracula Casino and Kingdom Casino) advertise crypto deposits without a coin list we could verify, so they are left off as well. Ratings come from our rating method, which weighs licence, payout terms, bonus fairness and game choice; a partner label never changes a score.

What is Litecoin?

Litecoin is a peer-to-peer cryptocurrency that Charlie Lee, a former Google engineer, launched in October 2011 as a lighter version of Bitcoin. It copies much of Bitcoin’s design but changes three things that matter for casino payments. Blocks are targeted every 2.5 minutes instead of ten. Mining uses the Scrypt algorithm rather than SHA-256. And the supply cap is 84 million LTC, four times Bitcoin’s 21 million.

New LTC enters circulation as a block reward that halves every 840,000 blocks, roughly every four years. The most recent halving happened on 2 August 2023 at block 2,520,000 and cut the reward from 12.5 to 6.25 LTC per block. The next one is due at block 3,360,000; because block times vary, the date is an estimate, around 2027.

Litecoin added an optional privacy layer called MimbleWimble Extension Blocks (MWEB) in May 2022, through Litecoin Core 0.21.2. MWEB transactions hide amounts and use a separate address format that starts with ltcmweb1. Regular Litecoin transactions still work exactly as before, and that is what casinos expect. We return to MWEB in the risks section, because sending from or to an MWEB address is one of the easiest ways to lose a deposit.

Charlie Lee is still involved. The Litecoin Foundation’s team page lists him as a director, with Alan Austin as managing director. Older pages that say Litecoin’s creator “gave up” on the project are wrong.

How secure is the Litecoin network?

Litecoin is secured by proof-of-work mining with the Scrypt algorithm. Since 2014, Dogecoin, which also uses Scrypt, has accepted merged mining (auxiliary proof of work, activated at Dogecoin block 371,337), so the same miners can secure both chains at once. For players, the practical effect is that Litecoin’s security depends on a large pool of Scrypt hardware, and casinos protect themselves against rare chain reorganisations by waiting for several confirmations.

Unlike proof-of-stake coins, LTC cannot be staked on its own network. Platforms that advertise “Litecoin staking” are usually offering a lending or savings product, in which you hand your coins to the platform and take on its counterparty risk.

What are the key dates in Litecoin’s history?

Charlie Lee launched Litecoin in October 2011 with Scrypt mining and 2.5-minute blocks. The MWEB privacy layer activated in May 2022, and the third halving on 2 August 2023 cut the block reward from 12.5 to 6.25 LTC. In late April 2026 an MWEB bug was exploited, and a 13-block reorganisation rewound about 32 minutes of chain history.

Date Event
October 2011 Charlie Lee launches Litecoin as a fork of the Bitcoin code with Scrypt mining and 2.5-minute blocks
May 2022 MWEB privacy layer activates on mainnet through Litecoin Core 0.21.2
2 August 2023 Third halving at block 2,520,000: reward falls from 12.5 to 6.25 LTC
Late April 2026 An MWEB bug is exploited; a 13-block reorganisation rewinds about 32 minutes before patched miners restore the valid chain
Around 2027 (estimate) Fourth halving due at block 3,360,000, cutting the reward to 3.125 LTC

How do Litecoin casino deposits work?

A Litecoin casino deposit is an ordinary on-chain payment from your wallet to an address the casino generates for your account. Standard addresses start with L, M or ltc1. The casino credits the deposit after a set number of block confirmations, and blocks are targeted every 2.5 minutes, so the wait depends on how many it requires.

A casino deposit in LTC is an ordinary on-chain payment from your wallet to an address the casino generates for your account. Nothing about the casino is special on the blockchain side. Three details decide whether the deposit arrives quickly and safely.

Addresses and the network

Standard Litecoin addresses start with L, M or ltc1. A casino cashier shows one of these for your account, often with a QR code. Stake, for example, accepts LTC only on the native Litecoin network. Some exchanges also offer wrapped or “pegged” Litecoin on other chains such as BNB Smart Chain, which looks like LTC in the exchange’s withdrawal menu but is a different token on a different network. If the cashier says Litecoin, choose the Litecoin network when you withdraw from an exchange, never a BEP-20 or other token version.

Confirmations

Every casino waits for a set number of block confirmations before it credits a deposit, and the number is the casino’s choice. For comparison, Kraken credits LTC deposits after 12 confirmations, which it estimates at about 30 minutes. Stake’s help centre simply says confirmation by miners is needed before funds reach your balance. Expect anywhere from a few minutes to about half an hour, longer if the network is busy.

Confirmations exist for a reason. In late April 2026, attackers exploited a bug in the MWEB layer and caused a 13-block reorganisation of the Litecoin chain, which rewound about 32 minutes of blocks before patched miners restored the valid chain. The Litecoin Foundation said legitimate transactions were unaffected, but the episode shows why a casino will not count an LTC deposit as final after one block.

Fees

Litecoin fees are paid to miners and depend on the size of your transaction in bytes and the fee rate your wallet chooses. A wallet that has received many small deposits builds larger transactions, because each earlier receipt becomes an input, so consolidating small amounts while the network is quiet keeps later fees down. Casinos set their own withdrawal fees on top: Stake lists 0.000138 LTC per LTC withdrawal, and several casinos deduct the network fee from the amount you withdraw. Read the fee line in the cashier before you confirm.

How do you start playing with Litecoin?

To start with Litecoin, set up a wallet where you hold the recovery phrase, buy LTC on an exchange that serves your country and withdraw it to that wallet. Then open the casino cashier, copy the LTC deposit address and send a small test amount. A hardware wallet suits savings, and a mobile wallet suits your playing budget.

If you already hold LTC in a wallet you control, skip to the third step. Otherwise the process takes four steps.

1. Set up a wallet that supports Litecoin

Pick a wallet where you, not an exchange, hold the recovery phrase. Litewallet is the Litecoin Foundation’s mobile wallet, Electrum-LTC is a desktop option, and hardware wallets from Trezor and Ledger both support Litecoin for larger balances. Write the recovery phrase on paper, store it offline and never type it into a casino or support chat; no legitimate casino needs it. Our crypto wallets guide compares the main options.

Wallet type Who holds the keys Good for Watch out for
Exchange account The exchange Buying and selling LTC Exchange terms may restrict transfers to gambling sites; funds depend on the exchange staying solvent
Mobile wallet (e.g. Litewallet) You Day-to-day casino deposits Phone loss without a backed-up recovery phrase
Desktop wallet (e.g. Electrum-LTC) You Fee control and address management Malware on the computer
Hardware wallet (Trezor, Ledger) You, on a separate device Savings you do not gamble with Cost of the device; slower for frequent deposits

A sensible split is a hardware wallet for savings and a mobile wallet holding only your casino budget. Sending straight from an exchange to a casino works, but it mixes your trading account with gambling and leaves the exchange in control of the timing.

2. Buy LTC on an exchange

Large exchanges such as Kraken, Coinbase and Binance list Litecoin. You will need to verify your identity before you can buy with a bank transfer or card. Some casinos also sell crypto inside the cashier through a third-party service: Stake points players without coins to MoonPay, and 7Bit has a Buy Crypto button. In-cashier purchases are convenient but usually cost more than buying on an exchange.

3. Deposit at the casino

  1. Register and verify your email, then open the cashier and select Litecoin (LTC).
  2. Copy the deposit address or scan the QR code. Check that it starts with L, M or ltc1.
  3. In your wallet, choose the Litecoin network, paste the address and compare the first and last six characters.
  4. Send a small test amount first, above the casino’s minimum deposit.
  5. Wait for the confirmations the casino requires; the deposit then shows in your balance.
  6. Send the main amount once the test has arrived, and claim any bonus only after reading its terms.

4. Withdraw your winnings in LTC

  1. Complete identity checks if the casino asks; most check at the first withdrawal or above certain amounts.
  2. Finish or forfeit any active bonus, because wagering must be complete before bonus-related winnings can leave.
  3. Paste your own LTC address, preferably one starting with ltc1 or L from a wallet you control, not an MWEB address.
  4. Check the minimum and the fee. At Stake, for instance, the minimum is 0.01857329 LTC and the fee 0.000138 LTC.
  5. Track the transaction hash in a Litecoin block explorer if the funds take longer than the casino’s stated processing time.

Withdrawal limits vary widely. Foxy Gold’s default limits are €4,000 a day and €10,000 a week, while Stake states no maximum. BitStarz’s terms set a target of paying withdrawals within an hour where possible, which is an operator commitment, not a guarantee.

What are common Litecoin deposit problems?

Most Litecoin deposit problems have three causes: too few confirmations so far, an amount below the minimum deposit, or LTC sent on the wrong network, such as a pegged token on BNB Smart Chain. Look up the transaction hash on a Litecoin block explorer first, then contact casino support with that hash if the deposit is still missing.

The deposit shows in my wallet but not at the casino

Look up the transaction hash in a Litecoin block explorer. If it has fewer confirmations than the casino requires, wait. Once it has enough and still does not show, send the hash and the deposit address to the casino’s support team. Casinos can trace a payment to an address they issued, but only you have the hash.

I sent less than the minimum deposit

Amounts below the minimum are often not credited automatically. Contact support with the hash; some casinos credit the amount manually or add it to your next deposit, others keep their terms strict. Avoid the problem by sending your test amount above the stated minimum.

I sent LTC on the wrong network

If you withdrew “LTC” from an exchange on BNB Smart Chain or another chain, it arrived as a token at an address the casino does not watch on that chain. Recovery is at the casino’s discretion and sometimes impossible. Stake’s help centre states plainly that coins sent via the wrong network will not be credited.

My withdrawal is pending

Most casinos review withdrawals before paying, especially the first one or a large one. Check that your identity documents are approved and that no bonus is still running. If the casino has already sent the payment, the hash in your account history lets you track it on-chain.

The casino changed the LTC amount

Hybrid casinos convert crypto to an account currency. If your balance is held in euros, a withdrawal in LTC is converted at the rate on the day of payout, which may differ from the rate when you deposited. That is a price effect, not a fee, but it can feel like one.

What is the difference between crypto-only and hybrid Litecoin casinos?

Crypto-only casinos such as mBit and Stake keep your balance in crypto from deposit to withdrawal. Hybrid casinos such as BitStarz, 7Bit, Koru and Foxy Gold also accept cards and e-wallets, which affects how you cash out. No casino on our list is pure Litecoin, so expect LTC to sit alongside Bitcoin, Ethereum and stablecoins.

Casinos that take LTC fall into two groups. Crypto-only sites, such as mBit and Stake, keep your balance in crypto from deposit to withdrawal. You never touch a bank, and identity checks tend to be lighter at low amounts, although every casino reserves the right to ask for documents.

Hybrid casinos, such as BitStarz, 7Bit, Koru and Foxy Gold, accept cards, e-wallets and crypto in one account. Their advantage is choice: you can deposit by card and withdraw in LTC where the terms allow, or keep a balance in euros or dollars to avoid price swings. The trade-off is that bonuses and limits are often set in fiat, so an LTC balance converts at the casino’s rate twice, once on deposit and again on withdrawal.

The split also affects how you cash out. Hybrid casinos that hold your balance in one account currency may let you withdraw in a different coin from the one you deposited, while crypto-only casinos usually keep a separate balance per coin and may offer an in-site swap at their own rate. Many casinos also ask you to withdraw by the same method you deposited with where possible, as part of their anti-money-laundering checks. If you plan to deposit LTC and cash out in BTC or USDT, read the payment terms or ask support before you deposit, not after you win.

No casino on this page is “pure Litecoin” in the sense of accepting only LTC. That model barely exists today; the casinos that grew around single coins in the 2010s have mostly closed or broadened their cashiers.

Which games can you play with Litecoin?

An LTC balance works on the same games as any other currency at these casinos: slots, software blackjack, roulette and baccarat, and live dealer tables. Some lobbies show stakes in LTC or its subunits, while others convert to a fiat display. Check the displayed stake before you bet, especially at live tables where the balance is converted.

An LTC balance works on the same games as any other currency at these casinos. What changes is the display: some lobbies show stakes in LTC or its subunits, others convert to a fiat display.

Slots

Slots make up most of every lobby here, from classic three-reel games to Megaways and bonus-buy titles. 7Bit says its Litecoin section holds over 5,000 games. Return to player (RTP) varies by game and sometimes by casino, since many providers offer the same slot in several RTP versions. Check the RTP in the game’s information screen, not the casino’s marketing.

Table games

Blackjack, roulette and baccarat come in software versions with low minimum stakes, which suit LTC’s small transaction sizes. European roulette, with one zero, has a house edge of 2.7%, against 5.26% for American double-zero roulette. Table games usually contribute little or nothing to bonus wagering, so play them with cash rather than bonus funds.

Live casino

Live dealer tables stream from studios in real time. At crypto casinos the balance is converted to the table’s currency on screen, so your LTC stake appears in dollars or euros. Live games are excluded from or count very little towards most bonus wagering.

Provably fair originals

Stake’s originals (dice, crash, plinko, mines and others) are provably fair: the casino commits to a hashed server seed before you bet, you supply a client seed, and you can recompute every result once the seed is revealed. That check covers in-house games only, not slots or live tables from third-party providers. Our provably fair guide shows how to verify a result step by step.

Can you bet on sports with Litecoin?

Several casinos on this page run a sportsbook on the same balance. Stake, Foxy Gold and Winz.io combine casino and sports betting in one account, so an LTC deposit funds both. Bonuses are usually split: a casino welcome bonus cannot be used on sports, and sports offers carry their own terms on minimum odds and qualifying markets.

Bet limits in sportsbooks are set per market and often displayed in a fiat equivalent even when your balance is in LTC.

Sports bets settle after the event, so LTC price moves while the bet is open affect the value of your stake and any return. For long-running bets, such as season outrights, that exposure can last months.

How do Litecoin casino bonuses work?

LTC deposits usually qualify for the same offers as other coins, converted at the casino’s rate, because few casinos run Litecoin-only bonuses. Welcome packages range from Foxy Gold’s single-deposit offer to Koru’s four-step package of up to €/$15,000 plus 350 free spins. Reloads and cashback follow, and the wagering multiple matters more than the headline.

Few casinos run bonuses that exist only for Litecoin. Instead, LTC deposits qualify for the same offers as other coins, converted at the casino’s rate.

Welcome bonuses

A welcome bonus matches some or all of your first deposits. Packages on this page range from Foxy Gold’s single-deposit offer to Koru’s four-step package of up to €/$15,000 plus 350 free spins. What matters is the wagering requirement, the maximum bet while wagering, any cap on what you can cash out and the time limit. BitStarz gives seven days per bonus; Koru also gives seven days and caps cashouts at five times the bonus.

Reload bonuses

Reloads reward later deposits. 7Bit runs a Monday reload, Koru advertises daily and weekly reloads, and Koru adds a 5% wager-free bonus on every crypto deposit, which applies to LTC.

Cashback

Cashback returns a share of net losses. 7Bit pays weekly cashback of up to 20%, Winz.io advertises 20% daily cashback on crypto play, and Stake’s rakeback returns part of the house edge on every bet. Read whether cashback arrives as cash or as a bonus with its own wagering.

Free spins usually come with welcome packages: 180 at BitStarz, 325 at mBit, 250 at 7Bit, 350 at Koru and 120 at Foxy Gold. Winnings from free spins are often capped; at BitStarz, the cap on winnings from free spins and no-deposit offers is 1.496 LTC for an LTC account.

Worked example: wagering in LTC

Suppose you deposit 1 LTC and receive a 1 LTC bonus with 40x bonus wagering, the requirement at BitStarz and mBit. You must place 40 LTC in bets before the bonus converts to cash. At BitStarz’s 0.05 LTC maximum bet, that is at least 800 spins. On slots returning 96% on average, the expected cost of 40 LTC in turnover is 4% of 40 LTC, or 1.6 LTC, more than the bonus is worth.

Run the same numbers at other rates. At 35x (Foxy Gold, 7Bit), turnover is 35 LTC and the expected cost 1.4 LTC. At Koru’s 50x it is 50 LTC and 2 LTC, and any winnings above five times the bonus are removed. Winz.io’s no-wagering bonus costs nothing to clear. Bonuses still have value, because short-term variance means some players finish well ahead, but on average a high-rollover bonus is entertainment time rather than profit.

How do you read LTC amounts in casino terms?

Casino terms quote crypto in whole coins and in smaller units. One LTC is divisible into 100,000,000 litoshis, the Litecoin equivalent of Bitcoin’s satoshi, and some casinos show balances in mLTC (thousandths of a coin). A maximum bet of 0.05 LTC is 50 mLTC.

When a bonus is quoted in BTC, such as 7Bit’s 5.25 BTC cap, an LTC account sees the equivalent in LTC at the casino’s rate, and that equivalent changes as both prices move.

Before you claim a bonus, convert three numbers into LTC: the minimum deposit, the maximum bet while wagering and the cap on winnings. If the maximum bet is lower than your usual stake, the bonus will slow your play; if the cap is low, a big win above it is removed when the bonus converts.

How does Litecoin compare with Bitcoin, Dogecoin and Tether?

Litecoin targets a block every 2.5 minutes, against 10 minutes for Bitcoin and 1 minute for Dogecoin. Its supply is capped at 84 million, against 21 million for Bitcoin and no cap for Dogecoin. Tether tracks the US dollar but carries issuer risk, while LTC stays volatile. For casino play, LTC sits between Bitcoin and the stablecoins.

Coin Target block time Supply Typical casino network Price risk
Litecoin (LTC) 2.5 minutes Capped at 84 million Native Litecoin Volatile
Bitcoin (BTC) 10 minutes Capped at 21 million Native Bitcoin Volatile
Dogecoin (DOGE) 1 minute No cap; 10,000 DOGE per block Native Dogecoin Highly volatile
Tether (USDT) Depends on the chain used Issued and redeemed by Tether TRC-20, ERC-20, BEP-20 and others Tracks the US dollar; issuer risk

LTC sits between Bitcoin and the stablecoins. It confirms faster than Bitcoin and is accepted almost everywhere Bitcoin is, but its price moves as much as any major coin. If you want your balance to hold its dollar value between sessions, a stablecoin is the better fit; see our Tether casino guide.

What are the advantages of Litecoin at a casino?

Litecoin’s main casino advantages are wide acceptance, a 2.5-minute target block time and on-chain fees that are usually small next to the deposit. Every casino in our comparison accepts LTC, and deposits usually confirm sooner than Bitcoin deposits needing the same number of confirmations. The trade-off is price volatility between deposit and withdrawal.

  • Wide acceptance. Every casino on our list accepts LTC, and it is one of the coins most crypto casinos added first after Bitcoin.
  • Faster blocks than Bitcoin. A 2.5-minute target block time means deposits usually confirm sooner than BTC deposits that need the same number of confirmations.
  • Low network fees. On-chain LTC fees are usually small next to the deposit, which makes LTC practical for modest amounts.
  • Familiar design. Litecoin works like Bitcoin, so the same habits (checking addresses, test deposits, hardware wallets) carry over.
  • Deep liquidity. Major exchanges list LTC against dollars, euros and stablecoins, so buying and selling is straightforward.

What are the risks of Litecoin at a casino?

The main risks are price volatility and deposits that cannot be credited. An LTC balance can lose value even if you break even at the tables. Kraken warns that MWEB deposits, including peg-outs, will not be credited and may be lost, so send standard Litecoin. Check the network too, because pegged LTC tokens on other chains are not native LTC.

  • Price volatility. An LTC balance can lose value between your deposit and your withdrawal even if you break even at the tables. Treat any coin price move as a separate bet.
  • MWEB addresses. Casinos expect standard Litecoin transactions. Kraken, for example, warns that deposits sent via MWEB, including peg-outs, will not be credited and may be lost. None of the casinos on this page says it supports MWEB, so never withdraw to an ltcmweb1 address and do not send deposits from MWEB balances.
  • Wrong network. Pegged LTC on BNB Smart Chain or another chain is not native Litecoin. Stake’s help centre states that coins sent via the wrong network will not be credited.
  • Irreversible payments. There is no chargeback on a blockchain. If you paste a wrong address, the casino cannot pull the funds back.
  • Less protection than a local licence. Offshore licences offer fewer safeguards than regulators such as the UK Gambling Commission. Disputes go through the casino and an ADR body, not a government ombudsman.
  • Not every casino supports it. Litecoin is common but not universal; some newer casinos list only BTC, ETH and stablecoins, and some list LTC for deposits only.

Is Litecoin private at a casino?

Standard Litecoin transactions are public. Anyone can see the amount and the addresses on a block explorer, though not names. Privacy at a casino depends more on the exchange and the casino than on the coin. Exchanges verify your identity when you buy, and casinos may ask for documents before a withdrawal, under their licence terms or anti-money-laundering rules.

MWEB adds confidential transactions on Litecoin, but none of the casinos on this page says it accepts MWEB transfers, and exchanges such as Kraken refuse them. In practice, using LTC at a casino is about as private as using Bitcoin: pseudonymous on-chain, identified at the exchange.

What should you check before a Litecoin deposit?

Before a Litecoin deposit, confirm that your country is not on the casino’s or the bonus’s excluded list, and that the cashier shows LTC on the Litecoin network with an address starting L, M or ltc1. Send standard Litecoin, not MWEB or a pegged token, and keep your test amount above the casino’s minimum deposit.

  • Your country is not on the casino’s restricted list or on the bonus’s excluded list.
  • The cashier lists LTC on the Litecoin network, and the address starts with L, M or ltc1.
  • Your wallet sends standard Litecoin, not MWEB, and not a pegged token on another chain.
  • The test amount is above the casino’s minimum deposit.
  • You know the wagering, maximum bet and any winnings cap before you accept a bonus.
  • Withdrawal limits, minimums and fees are clear.
  • Two-factor authentication is on at the casino, and your recovery phrase is stored offline.

How can you spot a fake Litecoin casino?

A fake Litecoin casino often shows a licence seal that does not open a validator on the regulator’s own domain. Copycat sites target crypto payments because a payment sent to the wrong address cannot be reversed. If any check fails, send nothing, because a real casino will still be there after you have confirmed its company and licence.

Crypto payments attract copycat sites, because a payment sent to the wrong address cannot be reversed. Warning signs repeat across scams:

  • A seal that does not open a validator. A real licence seal links to a page on the regulator’s own domain (cga.cw for Curaçao, the Tobique or Anjouan validators) that names the same company as the casino’s terms. A static image is worthless.
  • A fee to release winnings. Requests to send more LTC to “unlock” a withdrawal, pay a “tax” or cover “verification” are a classic scam. Legitimate casinos deduct fees from the withdrawal itself.
  • Look-alike domains. Clone sites copy a known brand’s design on a slightly different domain. Reach a casino through a bookmarked address or a trusted link, and check the domain before every deposit.
  • Offers far above the market. Bonuses of several thousand per cent with no terms, or guaranteed returns, are bait.
  • Messages from “support” on social media. Real support teams work through the casino’s own chat or email and never ask for your recovery phrase or remote access to your device.

When in doubt, send nothing. A real casino will still be there after you have checked its licence.

Which licences do Litecoin casinos hold?

BitStarz, mBit and Stake hold direct licences from the Curaçao Gaming Authority (CGA), issued under the National Ordinance on Games of Chance (LOK), in force since 24 December 2024. The old “Curaçao eGaming” master licence and sublicence system no longer applies. The CGA does not mediate individual disputes: complain to the casino first, then to one of the CGA-certified ADR bodies. Our Curaçao licence guide explains how to check a CGA licence on cga.cw.

Koru, Foxy Gold and 7Bit (licence 0000091 for most international visitors; its Canada-facing site uses CGA OGL/2023/147/0081) are licensed by the Tobique Gaming Commission, a First Nation regulator in New Brunswick, Canada, and Winz.io names both Anjouan and Tobique licences. Anjouan does not handle complaints itself; you raise them through the casino’s licence seal, the operator has 30 days to respond, and an operator-paid ADR body follows. Whatever the licence, the seal in the footer should open a validator on the regulator’s own domain and name the same company as the casino’s terms.

What should you do with LTC after a win?

Withdraw winnings to a wallet you control rather than leaving them in a casino balance. Casinos are not banks, and a balance left on site depends on the operator’s solvency and its terms on dormant accounts. Note the LTC amount and its value in your local currency on the day you withdraw, because many tax systems care about that figure.

What you do with the coins next is your decision. LTC’s price can rise or fall sharply after a withdrawal, which is a separate risk from the gambling itself. If you need a stable amount, convert on an exchange; if you hold, accept that the value will move.

Offshore crypto casinos block countries that run their own licensing systems, including the US and the UK, and accepting LTC does not change a casino’s legal status where you live. Tax depends on your country: many treat crypto as property, so spending or selling LTC can be taxable. Check your local rules before you play.

Offshore crypto casinos block countries that run their own licensing systems, including the US and the UK. Accepting LTC does not change a casino’s legal status in your country; check your local rules before you play.

Tax treatment depends on where you live. Many countries treat crypto as property, so spending LTC at a casino can count as a disposal, with a gain or loss against what you paid for the coins. Gambling winnings follow separate rules that range from tax-free to fully taxable. Keep a record of each deposit and withdrawal with the LTC amount and its value on the day.

How do you play responsibly with Litecoin?

Fast, cheap transfers make it easy to deposit again after a loss. Set a deposit limit in your casino account before your first LTC deposit and keep your casino wallet apart from your savings. A dedicated wallet funded once a month with a fixed budget turns that budget into a hard limit: when it is empty, you stop.

Litecoin casino FAQ

What is a Litecoin casino?

An online casino that accepts Litecoin (LTC) for deposits and withdrawals. Almost all of them also take Bitcoin, Ethereum and stablecoins, and some accept cards and e-wallets too. On this page we list only casinos whose own pages or terms show LTC as a payment option in October 2026.

What are the best Litecoin gambling sites?

For October 2026 we rate BitStarz highest overall, followed by mBit, 7Bit and Stake, with Winz.io for a bonus without wagering and Koru for reloads. Our partner Foxy Gold also accepts LTC through the XCoins processor. None of these casinos accepts players from the US or the UK.

How long does a Litecoin casino deposit take?

It depends on how many confirmations the casino requires. Litecoin targets a block every 2.5 minutes. Kraken, as a reference point, credits LTC after 12 confirmations, which it estimates at about 30 minutes. Casinos set their own number, so expect a few minutes to about half an hour.

Do Litecoin casinos charge fees?

You pay a small network fee to miners when you send LTC. Casinos may add their own withdrawal fee: Stake lists 0.000138 LTC per withdrawal and a minimum withdrawal of 0.01857329 LTC in its help centre (August 2026). Check the fee line in the cashier before you confirm a withdrawal.

Can I use an MWEB address at a casino?

No casino on our list says it supports MWEB, Litecoin’s optional privacy layer. Send deposits from a standard Litecoin balance and withdraw to an address starting with L, M or ltc1. Kraken warns that MWEB deposits will not be credited and may be lost, and casinos are unlikely to treat them differently.

Where can I buy Litecoin?

Large exchanges such as Kraken, Coinbase and Binance list LTC, and you will need to verify your identity before buying with a bank transfer or card. Some casinos sell crypto in the cashier through partners such as MoonPay, which is convenient but usually more expensive than an exchange.

How many Litecoins are there?

The protocol caps supply at 84 million LTC. New coins are created as block rewards, currently 6.25 LTC per block after the August 2023 halving, and the reward halves again at block 3,360,000, expected around 2027. Check a block explorer for the current circulating supply.

How do I convert my Litecoin to cash?

Send the LTC from the casino or your wallet to an exchange that lists Litecoin, sell it for your local currency and withdraw the money to your bank account. Check that the exchange accepts deposits on the Litecoin network itself, and expect a trading fee or spread plus any bank withdrawal fee. Our crypto exchanges guide compares the main options.
