RoBET Review (October 2026): Project Offline

RoBET is offline. The project’s website, robet.io, did not resolve when we checked on 8 October 2026, and the Wayback Machine shows no working platform there from 2024 onward. We have retired our old review, which covered a decentralised sportsbook that was still in demo mode when we wrote it.

What RoBET set out to do

RoBET pitched itself as a sports betting platform built on Ethereum smart contracts, with low margins and a token economy. In October 2019, a press release said it had become the first blockchain-based sportsbook to obtain an Isle of Man gambling licence. Our earlier review noted that the product was only available in demo mode and advised readers to wait for a full launch. We found no evidence that a full public sportsbook ever followed, and the site is now gone.

robet.com is a different site

Typing “RoBET” today can lead to robet.com. That domain currently hosts a crypto case-opening, crash and roulette site whose chat says it is “coming soon for public release”. Nothing we found ties it to the RoBET sportsbook project. Check any operator’s licence on the regulator’s own register before depositing; our licence guides show how for each regulator, including the Isle of Man Gambling Supervision Commission.

If you held RoBET tokens or a balance

Keep wallet addresses, transaction hashes and any emails from the team. On-chain records stay visible on Ethereum block explorers even when the website has gone, which helps if you ever need to show what you sent and when.

Is RoBET still running?

No. The project’s domain, robet.io, did not resolve when we checked on 8 October 2026, and archived copies from 2024 onward no longer show the platform.

Did RoBET have a gambling licence?

Yes, at one point. A press release published in October 2019 said RoBET had obtained an Isle of Man gambling licence for its blockchain sportsbook. A licence for a product that is no longer online gives players nothing today.

Is robet.com the same as RoBET?

We found nothing linking them. In October 2026 robet.com hosts a crypto case-opening and crash-game site that says it is coming soon for public release. Treat it as a separate site and check its licence before using it.
